I had to leave at 06:45 and breakfast was not available until 08:00 so I couldn't have it. I have had breakfast there on other ocaisions and it is good. I was unable to get many TV channels on the huge TV, but that may have been my fault? I have anallergy to feathers and the pillows and duvets were changed for me before I arrived, and the room thoroughly cleaned. I kettle was provided for me on request.

I was unable to get any of the standard TV channels on the TV, only other channels but that could have been my fault.

Very stylish. Smart and immaculately clean. Our bedroom and bathroom were large. Very good lighting and mirrors, including one full length. Quite a rarity in many places. Great hairdryer and sufficient sockets. Staff very helpful and friendly.

It seems, if I had thought of it - rather than assumed, I should have requested a room with a free standing shower rather than a shower attachment to the bath taps. We found the coffee maker baffling, ( an age thing perhaps as we don’t own one ). Written instructions would have helped, but a very cheerful member of staff came to our room to help.

The hotel was very accommodating and allowed us to check in earlier so we could get settled before attending a wine tasting booked for 3pm. The room was massive and was fresh and clean. Breakfast was really good also. We managed to make use of the free parking available at the back of the property. Location is also perfect as its right in the centre of Tenterden.

Noise from the street, mind your head on low beams. Room could have done with a dressing table. No shower, just a bath and hand held shower head. Macerator was loud when using bathroom. However we would stay again as room offered excellent value for money and was huge and comfy.

Room was a good size, lovely and light, coffee machine and water in the room was a welcome addition, plenty of storage space, good sized shower, we were staying with our dog and plenty of space for him too. Despite the room being above the pub/bar area, the noise didn't impact us at all. Good breakfast choices too

Not sure how many parking spaces are available for guests (ie one car per room they let out?) but on a couple of occasions we struggled to park when returning in the evening. I know parking was advised 'first come, first served' and perhaps Jubilee celebrations impacted on this, as events taking place in the function room. It wasn't the end of the world though but not always easy to find alternative overnight parking when staying somewhere unfamiliar. Wouldn't stop us returning though

Lovely room, pretty quiet, comfy bed and full of character. Breakfast was great, as was dinner, not your average pub food, this is a really great restaurant in it's own right, but pretty empty during the week. The staff were excellent, both Isabelle who had to look after the bar, see to check in and serve food and the lady at breakfast. Both were welcoming and extremely competent. Its a great location and convenient parking.

I can't complain as it's an old building but managed to whack my head on the bathroom ceiling a couple of times. Just something to be aware of if you stay here. My room wasn't ready when I tried to check in at 3pm. It was ok but maybe they could do with extra staff, only one housekeeper for all the rooms. The same person showed me to my room as tended the bar and served food (and she did a great job I might add). If I was going to nit pick they could up their game on the snack front. If you provide tea/ coffee etc to the room then add some biscuits.

We enjoyed a really lovely break at the Woolpack Hotel. We stayed in a room at the front of the hotel and weren't bothered too much about the noises from the road outside - it seemed to be around the same time that we'd get up for breakfast so we weren't negatively impacted by it. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was very comfortable! The bathroom (with standing shower) was small but well suited for our needs and there was always a good supply of hot, well pressured water. We used the hotel as a base for walks to explore Tenterden and to go to Chapel Down for a wine tasting and it was in the perfect location to do so. Breakfast was delicious and set us up well for the day ahead and we enjoyed a dinner meal too on one night, where food again was very tasty and there was a wide selection of dishes available. Really lovely stay, thank you!

Nothing!

The room was lovely and clean, the breakfast was fine, and I was glad there was parking available as I was travelling on my own. The location in the village/town was great. Everyone was friendly. Nice little garden.

I didn't really like my bathroom as it felt too claustrophobic for me being small and on a camber. I was just in & out as quickly as possible - but I understand that the best had been made from the little space. I would have preferred a kettle to the coffee machine.

The welcome we received was great. We really enjoyed our breakfasts which were freshly cooked and served hot. The service was excellent. The bar staff were good too, efficient and friendly. All the staff work very hard in the hotel and they deserve a pat on the back for the long hours they work.

Our room was comfortable, but very noisy. We do think the price should have been a little lower. Bar prices were expensive. Although we didn't really have a problem with the car park, a little reminder to our guests parking a little more considerately, would not hurt.

Central location in Tenterden, an old fashioned pub but with very modern additions to the rooms. The en suite facilities are now excellent and a little quirky, which we loved, I had the Septered Isle (love the mis-spelling!!) and the sloping bathroom was very interesting!! Rob, the manager, was amazing - fun, friendly and informative and very 21st century, and he made our stay so much more interesting, giving us information about the village and the surroundings.

The noise at 6.00 when the staff came in and emptied all the bottles!! Probably necessary but not the best awakening!

Lovely old full of character hotel. The bedroom was delightful and comfortable.

Although the bathroom was very clean, modern, a corner bath with hand shower and if one wanted a seat plus lots of towels , the odd very steep slope downwards from the door to the loo made it extremely hazardous when after a shower or bath wet feet on the floor caused slippage and the need to hold on to the wall to prevent falling over.
