I love everything the room was beautiful and the beds were super comfortable and I also like that it wasn't stuffy it was bright and airy.

I knew before booking that there was no cooking appliances but it would of been nice if there was at least a toaster or microwave and It would of been helpful if there was a mat for when we got out the shower as the floor stayed really wet we used our towels to dry it.

The fact that the development backs onto an area of outstanding natural beauty & is an off grid sustainable project. Bedgebury National Pinetum is also walking distance. Birchwood restaurant is on the Flimwell site and serves delicious breakfast and lunch. The lodges are impeccably clean and fresh and quiet. The quality of the shower and flooring is excellent,plus the beds were very comfortable. The lodges represent excellent value for money.

Nothing! Hopefully Birchwood will open for dinner soon too.

Very clean, comfortable, lovely modern decor and good amenities (kettle, hair dryer, TV, good array of tea, coffee etc). Quiet and very comfortable beds. On-site restaurant Birchwood is fantastic.

Very unfortunate that the lodges front directly on to the car park with all the beautiful trees on the other side. Guests need to make sure they are fully dressed before opening the curtains in the morning as there isn't much privacy. It would be nice if there were some planters/a strip of grass with some shrubs/trees growing between the lodges and the car park just to give a greener view and privacy, would also create more of a forest vibe.

bed - mattress comfortable but it slid around on the bed base meaning I had a. dry disturbed night’s sleep. sheet didn’t fit very well on mattress either. But everything else was great!

The office staff were extremely accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. The on-site restaurant was excellent with a varied and interesting breakfast menu, with gluten-free choices. We had small children and babies in our party and the restaurant owners were very understanding and helpful. Good forest walks and bike rides on the doorstep and a good pub, The Bell, in the nearby pretty village of Ticehurst. Would definitely recommend a stay at Flimwell Park.

lovely location, it was immaculately clean, Steph was extremely helpful and very friendly.

my friend is disabled and the bathroom, was not suitable, there was no seat in the shower area so she could not have a shower. the toilet is so high that she could not reach the floor, and with no handrail she was unable to get off unaided. we was in room 2 and there was also no rails to hang our clothes up. I would also advise some mat for the wet room floor as the water did travel to the toilet area, I had to use a towel to dry it so my friend would not fall due to being unsteady walking and limited eyesight.

Was attending a party on site so was great to just walk to bed! Amazing shower, excellent in room facilities and all pretty good. It was ideal for what I needed and would have happily stayed a few more nights.

I didn't like the mattress (memory foam I think) and the pillows were a bit hard but thats just a personal preference. Occasionally the fridge would hum a bit like a plane taking off but couldn't be helped I assume.

Everything! Event we attended was fantastic and a lot of this was down to the staff and quality of food. We were there for Ruthie and Sue,s wedding celebration.

Floor in chalet looked clean but our feet were getting dirty walking around. Would have been nice had the shower glass extended across more to save the shower floor mat from getting soaked and the floor becoming somewhat of a slip hazard.

Location- has a very nice little cafe/restaurant serving breakfast and lunch (you would have to book this seperately). Has woodland walking route that we didn't make it all the way around but was nice to walk the dog in the morning. You can park pretty much in front of your room. Room- Had a mini fridge, table to sit around, good amount of space and storage options if you needed it.

Privacy- I knew it when I booked but there are only windows at one side and to have any feeling of privacy you need to close the curtain, which blocks the natural light. Fine for us as only needed it to sleep in, but wouldn't have been great for an extended stay. Arrival- we did a bit of wandering around confused when we arrived and then were directed to the manager's house. This could have been made clearer.

It was little more than "just a place to stay overnight". Very clean, the shower was very good but otherwise nothing special.

Television reception was poor even for the main channels. For example the TV experienced lack of signal for Match of the Day. Suggests a lack of attention to detail or even care. I didn't report it given it was late on Saturday night, and I couldn't see the point in wasting time in the morning searching for a person to complain to since it wasn't the end of the world.
