Lovely size room with 2 double beds as a bonus! Over looked a little court yard which would be fab to sit out in the summer months. EVERY member of staff we met during our stay was so polite and welcoming I loved that! ❤ Oh only negative I did have a problem with poor water pressure filling up the bath so had to switch to a shower. Swimming Pool was a little too cold for me but sauna and jacuzzi were great. We went for mothers day so treated ourselves to a hot lava shell massage....Mmmm well worth it! Breakfast plentiful and tasty. Will definitely be back for another visit.

The leisure facilities and leisure centre manager Monika was exceptional in her customer care approach. We felt very welcomed and pleased. breakfast was excellent!

The restaurant menu dishes was overpriced, as were the drinks. The menus was not varied with no vegan option and only 2 vegetarian option. The vegetarian option I picked was not tasty and my plate was filled predominately green vegetables costing £15. Also the 20% discount when you do not get your room house cleaned during your second night stay was little confusing my individual adult meal with x3 drinks came to approx £26 and I paid approx £24 - that’s not 20% off, no explanation on receipt and I felt embarrassed to even ask. I do not recommend dinner at the restaurant.

On arrival the check in was nice and quick. Our room had a lovely decoration set up on the bed with petals and swans made from the towels. The breakfast was very good value for money and filled us up well for the day. The fitness centre was nice and we made good use of both the pool and gym. The hotel is well located and we were able to get to everywhere we wanted after only a 5-10 minute drive.

The room had some areas of light damp by the window which was causing paint for peel away. The pillows were very soft and didn't give much support. The sink drained very slowly so likely has a partial blockage somewhere.

Have stayed here a number of times now and would recommend. Good location for stay over en route to Dover Port with petrol nearby. Large comfortable family room with 2 large double beds and a good cot provided free of charge. Quick easy check in. Adequate parking in hotel car park. Dogs permitted.

Dogs are permitted but it’s fairly expensive for them in comparison to many places, this would not stop me staying as pet owners are grateful to all establishments that allow animals as the UK is the worst country in Europe for this, im mentioning it as it is something to consider when budgeting.

The room was bigger than we normally expect, with a very comfortable bed and a superb bathroom, spotlessly clean. The lounge part of the room had two very comfortable arm chairs for TV viewing or reading. Breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we've ever had! Deliciously cooked plus a vast choice of fruit, cold meats, cheese and pastries. Even the toaster worked brilliantly!

This was a 30 degree hot day and the room had no air-conditioning. However there was a very big fan in the room which did the job. We were opposite the main road, so there was some traffic noise, but not enough to spoil our stay or a good night's sleep. The £5 parking fee always seems like a liberty, but we did know about it beforehand.

Lovely large room, very clean and very comfortable. Very good value for money. And after a long day at a family wedding, it was great. Breakfast staff were lovely 🥰.

When we booked, it was a pain. No reservation staff at the weekend (?) and, as it was a family wedding at the Orangery, we were all trying to book. And not just at the last minute, we were all well in advance. Maybe have trained staff at the weekend as well? Also maybe have more info in the rooms? Not all the staff on Saturday night were telling people what time breakfast was. I know it was gone midnight, as we told them, but perhaps more cheerful staff on check in.

Our double bedroom had everything we would need; small fridge, iron/ironboard, hairdryer, fan, kettle with tea and coffee. Available room service. Lovely bathroom. Was very happy to access swimming area along with jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Swimming area wasn't constantly busy so was nice to have jacuzzi to yourself and fair few people. Breakfast was by far one of the best breakfast buffets me and my partner have had on a very long time at any hotel. This hotel did exceed expectation and would happily book another night. Price can be worth it when you search for the right date as prices can range.

Can't fault anything about the hotel.

The Room was excellent. A Good Size and very clean, with a good level of decor. We loved the room and commented on this at reception when leaving. The public areas are superb with plenty of style and comfort. The entrance is very grand and stylish. The Breakfast staff were very nice and well mannered, and the choice and quality of food on offer was impressive. Nice ambience and feel in the dining area and it was open plan to the reception area and bar which was nice.

No air conditioning in the bedroom. Just a portable fan. The room was okay for us at this time of year, but may be a big problem in the summer. The public areas were air conditioned. With the climate changing, hotels will need to start to modify their facilities or lose customers. The seats in the reception / foyer area were needing replaced. The red leather on the seats was cracking and flaking. We couldn't understand why the hotel let this happen and continue - it was letting down an absolutely lovely and stylish public area ? As it was all the couches the replacement cost would be high but the customer benefit and impression would be priceless.

The property is exceptionally clean and well presented. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Our room was massive and the view into the courtyard was very nice. The health club was definitely my favourite part of this hotel. The changing rooms are regularly cleaned (so no nasty clumps of hair on the shower walls or floors!) and lockers are provided to keep everything safe. The pool and jacuzzi were a good size and the sauna was the perfect temp. The best part is that on weekdays the health centre closes at 10pm so there is plentye of time to relax! I’d also recommend the restaurant.

My only critique is that it’s missing some small touches that you’d expect from a 4 star hotel, such as hair conditioner and other toiletries (there was only shampoo and hand wash from a pump bottle) or biscuits in the room with the tea and coffees. But for the price of the room and the exceptional quality of the the amenities offered, you really can’t complain! I’d definitely stay here again.

I initially booked a two night day but my plans continually changed and in the the end stayed 3 nights with minimal notice. Karen on reception was amazingly helpful juggling things around to make sure I didn’t need to change rooms. Hotel facilities and comfort are obviously important but perhaps even more so for me is customer service and the staff at the Orida excelled in this regard. A big thank you to Karen and others who made this such a pleasant stay. I’ve stayed there a number of times and will do so in the future
