Excellent location for our needs . Stayed many times always pleasant experience

Nothing negative

The location and surroundings of the hotel is lovely, with the cricket pitch and sports venue. I loved the arrangement of the rooms having their own entrance, like a motel then the classic hotel set up. The staff could not do enough for you and were very helpful. The family room was excellent, with the four poster bed, twins and sofa. It had everything you could need, with all the classics as standard, which you normally have to pay extra for. It was huge space and very well set up. It was clean and welcoming on entrance. The fact the hotel charged for the room and not guests is how it should be. Originally their were two of us, but the room allowed up to four and three of us went to a near by venue, so was nice when told we had paid for the room and just needed to let the hotel know the numbers of people if it changes. Also that it could be adults and not the usual hotel refusal of only two adults max. We were friends sharing, so more enjoyable than having to have separate rooms, further cost, it meant the escape could be enjoyed throughout.

You know what I am struggling to find anything at all. There’s a little bar and place for food, the location is great and easy to find. Staff were excellent and once booked in you were left to just enjoy the hotel. The room couldn’t offer anymore and was a great size and the sofa idea is excellent. Sorry but it’s all good from us! The price was fair and we will be booking again.

The young girl receptionist was very helpful. Apologetic if there was a problem, and doing more than manning reception. It was good being able to park near the room.

Kettle seemed to be faulty. Working intermittently. No teaspoons, but the young receptionist rectified it as soon as she could. No automatic replenishment of milk for coffee in the room on second day. Breakfast was good when it arrived, but the young receptionist seemed to be doing it all. A group waited some time, but then left to find breakfast elsewhere. Seemed insufficient staff at that time.

Family room good size and beds comfortable, bathroom was a bit tired. Location was relatively quiet, although had some noisy neighbours but this died down after 11pm. Restaurant was unfortunately closed on this occasion 😕 but there was a good pub 4 mins walk up the road which was family friendly 😀 Breakfast was very good although had to prebook and pay previous day but you got free drinks by doing so 😀 Apparently booking.com incorrectly says Breakfast included. 35 min drive from alton towers but reasonably priced if not cheap considering the price of hotels on site!

Tired bathroom. restaurant was closed on this occasion. A noisy neighbour but this was likely bad luck on the night. Looked empty on arrival, not a big obvious sign for reception or the company that runs the hotel but I figured it out in the end!

The room was a very good size, with a very comfy bed! It had all the basic amenities, including a hairdryer, plenty of storage, and mirrors for getting ready. The staff were very kind and helpful on check in and check out, and the bedroom area of the room was nice and clean.

There was some mould on the shower wall and around the bath trim, and the bathroom in general could have done with some maintenance - the counters were bowed and peeling from water damage, and the toilet roll holder was broken.

When we 1st arrived we were met by Mel who could not do enough for us, and was brilliant on the bar for her 1st night, on the 2nd night Mel was there with Vicky who were doing a function but we were still made to feel at home even though they were busy. Bed was so comfy, room was clean, housekeeping staff could not fault.we will b back again

We attended a family event it was a good evening. The beds were very comfortable .

It was close to a main road and the traffic noise woke us up early on Sunday Morning. The room looks dated The hotel carpark has massive pot holes in these need to be filled in. The flower bed and feature flower / bushes need to be maintained.

The two rooms although maybe a little dated, were clean comfortable, and had all you needed, in fact, the extra items in the room exceeded all others i looked at. EG: Trouser press, iron, and board, Hair dryer. Parking was right outside the apartment was a winner too :). The motel was quiet and slept like a log :) 10/10 and then some I think this is a reflection on the Hotel team at every level :)

Given the value for money would not fault anything, I paid considerably more the previous month staying at a quite big chain hotel, and they did not come close to matching the service and value for money we received here.

Love how your need is catered too. No issue is a problem. Never met such a beautiful kind receptionist before (mel) ... Also Love the idea of electric charging for your vehicle plus a bar which is open from 11am for food hot drinks and whatever else you want or need.

Just being picky but showers are not very strong. But it's sufficient for a shower.

It was near the a lot of amenities.

That bathroom had a bath in for disabled people which was ok. But it ws slippy when wet. I have two total knee replacements so I struggled to get out. Maybe if it had a non slip surface on the floor of the bath and on the seat that was there would be good.
