Room was just perfect with private patio and view. Food was great, and service was very friendly. Great atmosphere in the bar. I liked that you were able to help yourself to breakfast and extra drinks from shared area when you were ready too in the morning without leaving your room. Communication was good after a small misunderstanding regarding payment. All round lovely night away and will be returning when possible. Thank you to all the team.

Nothing really apart from a cooked breakfast if that’s your personal requirement when staying overnight.

Breakfast was adequate, basic continental with fruit, cereal, bread, toaster which set of the smoke detector every time we used it even with door open. Plenty of extra coffee sachet's but short on butter. rooms were spotless and well catered.

The description and reviews led us to believe all rooms had an out door balcony area but this was not the case with our room. We had a clean well maintained motel style room but not the balcony and views we expected

Location was fine for the work I was staying for, ample brew kit in the room. The pub was nice with a selection of good seating indoor, outside and a large garden, ample parking, although my motorcycle was not a problem space wise. The accomodation is a purpose built block to rear of the pub with half the rooms having a decking area overlooking countryside.

For my stay it was all ok. However they do not do a cooked breakfast. They do a breakfast pack of pastries etc which you can order and it is left outside your room. But I was leaving very early in the morning so this aspect was not an issue for me. It may be for others.

The food was amazing, tasty, hot, and a great choice. Staff were very good, quick service. Pub is quirky and welcoming. Rooms immaculate, clean and great powerful shower.

Breakfast is continental at the accommodation building ( behind the pub itself ) Self-service, toast cereal, and Croissants ( very dry ) no plates provided or serviettes, which was an issue for us. Twin room beds were soft and uncomfortable, but a personal thing, maybe ?

The room was located just behind the pub in a separate building. It was a lovely, comfortable room with a great range of complimentary tea, coffee, biscuits etc. The bathroom was modern and well equipped. Fluffy towels included as well and all in all a great value, excellent accommodation. I also ate in the pub which was great and also good value. Staff were also friendly which is always a pleasure.

I wanted a quiet room for one person travelling for pleasure, and that is exactly what I had. Tea/snack facility in-room was generous. Room was spotless. Staff were extremely helpful. Did not eat in the bar but the food looked good. Atmosphere was good with guests and locals eating and drinking in the bar. The information available before booking/arrival was clear and honest e.g. no cooked breakfast in the week & book your car details at the bar on arrival. Cannot understand complaints made by some people about this.

Not much to put in this box but here goes: Even with a sat nav, finding the entrance to the (large) car park was a problem What gives with cushions on beds? If I was staying longer would like to have a cooked breakfast available on-site in the week, although the staff did reccommend a local cafe a short walk away, so not really a complaint? Might not have suited a business stop over, e.g. there was no desk and clothes hanging space was minimal.

the location, cleanliness, the view, friendliness of staff, the food in the restaurant all equal in good quality.

our chalet nearest the entrance was subjected to noise of other people coming in late at night banging the outer door and also sometimes talking loudly by that door and on one occasion l smelled cigarette smoke coming under our door. perhaps a sign to say please do not bang the door and no smoking in the entrance hall and please don’t congregate in the entrance to chat loudly!!!

Lovely, vibrant village pub. Friendly, helpful staff and management. You don't get this at soulless places like Travelodge or Premier Inn Accommodation is great and the views from those with decking are amazing. Very relaxing and peacful after a day at work

Nothing to dislike regarding my stay over the last 3 weeks

The rooms were modern, spotless and comfortable and are located in a separate building just behind the pub so you weren't disturbed by noise from the bar or beer garden. The pub was great, the staff were friendly and the bar meals were varied, tasty and good value.

Limited storage space in a twin room i.e. no wardrobe. This wasn't a problem for a one night stay but could be problematic if you were stopping longer and had some business suits / posh frocks to hang up.

Everything was perfect, excellent location for our weekend away, rooms are absolutely spotlessly clean. Breakfast delivered to the room was very handy and more then satisfying. 😋 .

Only feedback is duvet on bed is very light and I felt cold, extra bedcovers were supplied in room so problem easily solved.
