An absolute gem. Village centre room above a wonderful little Bistro. The room is up some stairs which is fine for us, but may not suit people with mobility issues. The room itself is one of 2 and has a lovely en-suite shower room. TV, fan, Tea and Coffee and a very comfy bed. All beautifully presented. The communication from the owners was first class before and during our stay, so full marks there too. The village itself is lovely and the Bistro downstairs served top quality food and great service. We didn't stay for Breakfast as we had to get going, but we almost certainly would have done. Genuinely a lovely property and we hope to come back again.

There is nothing to dislike. It was as good as it gets.

the room is large and modern. the bathroom en-suite is lovely and the shower is wonderful. There is tea making facilities and the room is very comfortable.

There is nothing to dislike. If there is anything to dislike then it’s a few miles out of the city in a village location., but there is a bus stop opposite the B+B where you can get the bus into town, or it’s a 10 min drive. so unless you want to step out of your hotel and be in the city then it’s not for you. But then you will have parking fees etc and pay more for the accommodation which might not be as nice.

Hearty breakfast in the downstairs Bistro, not included in the room price. A 10% discount off the breakfast bill as we were guests but had to mention this paying the bill. Spotlessly clean. Comfortable sleep. Great shower, thick towels.

The room became a tad chilly but rectified when mentioned to the owner ( outside the room on the landing was a thermostat that needed adjusting slightly). The owner checked we were happy and all in order. So this is not a criticism. The floor boards were very creaky in the bedroom and difficult to avoid.

We stayed for 2 nights and the place was lovely, it was all so clean! The facilities were great, all you need for a stay. There were ironing facilities, tea/coffee and they even had shower gel, shampoo and conditioner in the shower. Everything was so thought out. The host was also so accommodating and friendly. We came for a wedding and had to drop bags off early and she was happy to accommodate this. I’d recommend this place to all, will definitely be back :)

Breakfast was not included in the price of the room.... but would normally be available in the Bistro next door from 9am. I was booked in for two nights (Monday and Tuesday) but learned that the Bistro was closed on Tuesday morning...so this was unfortunate on 2 counts. Not available on day 1 and available too late for my needs on day 2.

There was nothing to dislike about this accommodation. There was no room service (good job I'm a tidy person) which surprised me but not really a problem as far as I'm concerned.

Room was large, very comfortable and exceptionally clean. Nice luxurious-feel furnishings and plenty of tv channels inc Netflix. £120 is quite a lot of money but to pay but it did inc breakfast and given the quality of the finish in the room it was definitely justified.

A fair bit of noise coming from the restaurant downstairs on the Saturday evening and breakfast in that same place the next morning was ok. The room was advertised as a luxury King room which made me think it was a king sized bed but it was a standard double.

easy to access, nice light room with a very comfy bed and Netflix, heating kept the room nice and cosy, warm lighting, modern but cosy decor. felt very safe

nothing! everything was great. our only gripe was that we went to the local pub for dinner at 7:15 as it said on their website they stopped serving food at 8 but when we got there they’d already stopped serving! so just something to be aware of but that’s nothing to do with Sixteen B so still 10/10 for them!

Great village location with excellent bus links into York. Very clean with comfortable bed. Olga was friendly and helpful by text but never met.

Very compact eg no chairs. Needs clothes hooks in bathroom. No breakfast availability despite advertisement & signage as a B&B - this needs correcting immediately.

The village was lovely with a great little pub a stones throw away for a quiet nightcap after the hurly burly of York. And lots of places for a quiet walk with no heavy traffic. Room was super clean and well appointed loved the room and it was so quiet. Basically the photo's of this B&B don't lie it is actually even better and the bed was so comfy. Staff and villagers were really friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast was amazing my mouth is watering just thinking about that breakfast. Can't recommend this B&B enough it is a little gem.

Hotel was 6 miles from York but the bus stop is directly across the road from the B&B and the buses run every half an hour so that wasn't really an issue. It is only a 20 min bus ride right into York. Had a few problems with the outside lock on the first night, couldn't get it to work, apparently we weren't the only ones as I heard the couple in the next room trying to get in half an hour after we got in, also the hairdryer which should have been in a drawer was missing, these weren't major issues as I would take my own on a longer stay and the lock problem just made me giggle. The alarm clock in the room was wrong, don't think it had been altered after the time change, we got up an hour too early but that just gave us more time to explore the village so it was all good.

We went for a couple of nights stay at the end of September. The room was beautifully presented with quality furnishings ,bed linens. and Imaculately clean. We had a lovely modern bathroom with big double shower. Breakfast was in a lovely setting, in the coffee shop below our room. Nice, bright and modern. There was lots of choice for what you may like to eat. Fresh fruit, cereals, freshly cooked to order full English breakfast and more. This is by far the best quality Bed and breakfast we have stayed in , at a good price too . The village of Dunnington is well placed for anyone visiting the York area and beyond. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would highly recommend.
