Motel 6-Bay Minette, AL

It was a very nice property, probably one of the nicest we have stayed at. It was very clean, right off the main Hwy but was very quiet as well. The room was huge, with lots of features and they had a little laundry facility, a snack bar, free coffee and a swimming pool that was very clean. And the best part is you get exceptional service that doesn’t break the bank.

The only thing we really didn’t like about it was it wasn’t very close to any restaurants or stores but that’s really the only downside to it.

Short distance to Coastal College, we were there for a cheer clinic. We booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, one king one double, the hotel was accommodating and we got them next to each other. Comfortable beds and pillows, very clean rooms that have been updated. I always wipe down a room with cleaning wipes when I first arrive at a hotel, this place was spotless, not a speck of dirt on my wipes or paper towels. It was also very quiet, we never knew there were people around us. Very nice for an economy price.

The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating. The building is older and they are remodeling it. The room we reserved was on the side that had rooms under construction. They were worried the noise would bother us as it was later when we got in. The owner moved the room to the other side of the building so the construction noise would not bother us in the morning. Also when we left our oldest child left her MacBook in the room. We had only been gone about 15 minutes and they called and told us they had it. We had not even realized it was gone. So glad they were so quick to call as we were not far down the road.

You can tell the building is older and it is under active construction. They are clean rooms and are in the process of getting the building renovated. The noise was not a problem for us. Great value for the money.

The owners are very friendly and very accommodating to the guests. The on-site pool was clean, had cool lights at night, and with the hours there’s always a chance to go when no one is there.

We only wish there was some sort of sign to show on the door for no need of services.

The rooms were up to date....the staff was excellant and everyone went out of their way to make sure we were happy. It was one of the best kept little secret in Bay Minette The swimming pool was crystal clear and the cleanest around and was a large pool not the size of a jacquzzi....thanks Mike and Lisa

Location was far enough from the beach that we could get a room for a week, there was no breakfast because it's a Motel 6 and it's wicked cheap: we weren't expecting them to feed us. Pool was closed for some inscrutable COVID reasons, the emails say, but we suspect it has more to do with how dreadfully understaffed they were (everything in the service industry is, right now). Nonetheless, the room was spotless and the staff were kind.

Understaffed. Not their fault: everyone is, right now. Half the fast food places in town have closed lobbies because they can't get anyone to work in them.

Overall my stay was great ! Very nice staff . The rooms were soo clean & smelled amazing ! I will definitely be staying again ! Actually everytime I have family or friends to visit I will refer this hotel thank u guys again & again

Nothing actually everything was great maybe more pool time lol !

The room was recently remodeled and updated. The sheets were clean and the bed was comfortable. And no extra charge for pets, we have a Shih Tzu.

The towels were very stained. You can smell that they had been washed but couldn't remove the stains. We bring our own towels, disinfectant and cleaners anyway because of previous experiences from other various hotels.

So clean and quiet,I had my puppy and they made a big thing over how pretty he is, places to eat are very close, I give everything a 10

There is nothing I didn't like, I loved it all

Cleanest most professional motel 6 I have ever seen. Most of them are dumps but not this one surprisingly.
