Hampton Inn & Suites Mobile - Downtown Historic District

The location is good. This was our second time staying here as a 1/2 way point between Orlando FL and Memphis TN

The continental breakfast was not nearly what it should be. Only one of two available "egg stations" had eggs and they were small premade Western Omelettes that contain things my kids can't eat. Just some plain scrambled eggs should be offered. Also, they only had two self-service waffle irons, which did work great, but we are a family of 5 and it took 15 minutes to make everyone one waffle each, all while many other guests were waiting. This location was too busy for the limited breakfast setup.

The staff was extra friendly and accommodating. The location was excellent for all the moonpie over mobile activities.

When we arrived one of the elevators was broken, the hotel opened up their service elevator for guests use and while we were there the second elevator for guest use went out, leaving only the service elevator running. The hotel parking is worth the $9 a night fee, but the parking lot will fill up during large events.

Place is really good. Pool was clean and warm for a good exercise after travel. Gym is big and well equipped. We liked the breakfast and options available. even peanut butter we could get. you can walk down streets for dinner or just to enjoy vibe. We stayed only one night but we will be back for more days.

We loved everything! Great location downtown. The staff was very attentive, friendly and helpful! There is a wonderful, full complimentary breakfast downstairs, in the morning. I was our 35 th anniversary and the staff so graciously upgraded us to a larger corner suite, with a balcony, which was so nice! The suite was huge with a wrap around balcony, that would be perfect for Mardi Gras! Mobile has such an interesting history. We’ll definitely be back to visit the Hampton Inn & Suites in the downtown historic district, because of their friendly southern hospitality!

Designate Smoking Area. The benches are nice for those who wait for trans or gettin fresh air. Smokers shouldn't be so close to main lobby entry. Some smokers leave smoldering cig. Smell linger in non-smokers pathway to lobby. More food establishments for fam OPEN @11:00 p.m. AND safe. Didn't feel safe n recommended areas for food/drinks.

The room was clean, we got a suite, with a balcony it was awesome the kids loved it and the location great but the Continental Breakfast was amazing!! I could go on and on, Omlets, and sausage, toast and bagels, oatmeal, grits, fresh made waffles, cereal, bananas definitely one for the books and The staff was great very helpful and friendly.

Parking was mess even though we paid for parking the parking lot was full and we had to park down the road a good ten minute walk with four littles under five and they were all asleep so they had to be carried!! It was a little difficult to say the least they didn’t even offer a refund for the parking and still charged us. It wouldn’t hurt for the parking attendant to have a little golf cart shuttle for people with families for such instances.

Great location, especially for exploring downtown Mobile on foot. Many restaurants within walking distance. Secured parking lot on property.

Breakfast had the fewest options of three Hampton Inns we stayed in during the same week. Worn queen mattress rolled sleepers to center of bed. Miscommunication between Booking.com and Hilton meant that the front desk had no record of our confirmed reservation upon our arrival that evening. However, the front desk scrambled to give us the last room available, adjusted our room rate and comped us the parking fee for one night.

The hotel is located right in the heart of the city. It’s perfect location to start sightseeing. The hotel itself is very nice and the staff was friendly.

The hotel was fully booked that weekend and hence there wasn’t much parking and the spots are tight. Perhaps because that weekend the place was booked it lacked in the cleaning department. The halls reeked of not so great food smells. The elevators are small and move slow and in a crowded hotel that means you are stuck with several people in a tight space that seems to last forever. It doesn’t help that inside the elevators there is no air conditioning or any cool air whatsoever and it is just plain hot.

The room was very clean and comfortable. It was only an overnight stay, but we wished we could have had some more days to explore the area. Breakfast had a lot of options and was good. The staff was very helpful, especially the young lady at the front desk. I really wish I could remember her name. We were so tired of traveling and didn't want to move the car again. This hotel was within walking distance to Wet Willie's. We were able to get a few drinks and the food was amazingly good. This hotel is in a really good location, and it is very easy to navigate back to I-10.

The information on the back of the room doors need to be updated. It clearly states that check out is at noon however we received a knock on the door at 11am from housekeeping stating it was at 11am. I talked the front desk and needless to say he didn’t care.
