Renaissance by Marriott Mobile Riverview Plaza Hotel

The location and view from our room was nice. All staff were helpful and friendly.

Only complaint was the pool not being open. I mean for the price that was paid for one night there should have been some kind of discount because of the pool not being open and it doesnt state it on website.

Beautiful Beautiful hotel! In the heart of downtown mobile. Walking distance from everything. I stayed here for my birthday weekend and had a Blast! Parking was so easy. Front desk was super nice. A easy breezy checking. I highly recommend you stay here! I was on the 23rd floor and loved the view of the city from there it was amazing!! The bed was to die for, I didn't want to get out of it. It was worth EVERY BIT of the cost to me!! The beautiful waterfall in the front entrance to the awesome made chairs on the 2nd floor just a all around uninique and cool hotel. Give it a shot! I think you'll love staying here😉😁

Everything was AWESOME!

Hospitality, everyone been so kind. I was very nervous in an unknown area.

3 different times I was called about my first night reservation under my maiden name and last name. Didn’t have my first name in system. First night was a booking.com reservation then next two nights was with a school group. I was under the impression and understood I wouldn’t have to check out on Monday at 11a then check back in at 4p. I already paid for both reservations but the communication lapsed big time. I should’ve never been asked by 5 different people in one day about any of my reservations. I’m in healthcare and that is unprofessional on all levels.

The room was very Clean ,Staff was knowledgeable . Everything was just step away being downtown Mobile. Had a few Classmates in Hotel for Class Reunion . We were able to talk in lobby after events were over.. We plan to stay here again next year. Oh the views of the water from the window awesome. My husband took many pictures. i will let my friends and family to use Renaissance Hotels

The construction around the Hotel. But we don't blame the Hotel. Wish the rooms had a microwave in it. But that is just a little downer ..

Room were large

Light in bathroom over tub didn’t work. Never got wash clothes we are for. When I called to get some wash clothes, I started to explain we had 4 in the room and not enough wash clothes. She said just tell me what you need no need to explain all that. The shower worked sometime and not all the time. The is surfaced cleaned in spots but not everywhere. The telephone needs cleaning. Disappointed only one bar in restaurant. No where to sit and relax with friends and have a drink.

Comfortable room, great view, and location.

In order to have the rooms ready on time, we had to compromise on some things we had booked online. Took a while to have it ready. After check-in time. There was some hair in the bathtub at one of the rooms. We only got a text saying our rooms were ready after 8 pm. I'm glad we didn't wait for it.

Great location, easy to find

The property itself was really nice, but not for the price. Had a problem with the room that I had reserved at first, but was quickly resolved. The bathroom wasn’t cleaned properly, there was blood on the toilet seat. Good thing I always travel with Lysol wipes and Lysol spray !!

The whole experience was great, the staff was so friendly and the room was ready and met our expectation for accessibility. the only item that was a little inconvenient, there was no working desk to work from. Being in a wheelchair, I would rather have the accessible items be what I need before a working area. We enjoyed the room and hotel.

We liked the view from our room and the style of the room. The front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean.

There was not a microwave in the room. I couldn't figure out what temperature to set the thermostat to make it comfortable. We were on the 26th floor and it is hot so we had to keep it pretty cool, but then it was too cold. If we turned it up a little, we would sweat under the blankets. Maybe it was us, but we couldn't figure it out the right temperature.

I loved the pool and the easy access to museums!

The vending machines on each floor only took cash, so that was a little disappointing. Also, having to scan your card to go to each floor was difficult for door dash and food delivery services.
