Motel 6-Big Bear Lake, CA

I like that it was located in a nice area in Big Bear. So quiet and fresh air, the staff was so nice and helpful. When the key card didn't work they assisted by going up to the room making sure that I could get in. They will conversate with you like family, not like some staff at other hotels in a hurry and rushy.

I don't like that they aren't doing the microwave and refrigerator thing. I had to eat cold sandwiches and eat out the nights I stayed, that's a bummer!

Jessica at the front desk was very pleasant and knowledgeable and helped tremendously. I needed a car rental, information, advice and she provided all of those things with a smile. Magnanimous! I would highly recommend going to motel 6 big bear, Especially if Jessica is on duty. Excellent customer service and very professional. 5 stars! Thank you Jessica, you're a star!

The only thing I didn't like was having to leave. That bit hard. That's my only complaint! Jessica you rock! Thank you motel 6!

Very comfy beds. Warm room and good hot shower. TV was a delightful treat. The reception staff were fantastic - friendly, professional, courteous and accommodating. I would happily come here again.

If I was being really picky.. I'm not sure the floor was particularly clean, but to be fair it is a snow resort, people are probably bringing their gear inside with ice melting, and there are a high turnover of guests, so you can't expect everything to stay as immaculate as it was when it was brand new. This is a great place to stay.

Every thing was as expected. Everything worked and was clean looking and smelling. The staff were very polite. The location is ideal!

I didn't like just the one blackout curtain. I would have enjoyed a second inner curtain that allows light to come into the room.

it was close by near activities planned and places to eat

towels were dirty with stains and we didn’t get more towels if needed nor did housekeeping offer to take out trash. nothing was explained to us if we needed extra towels or so

Had seen some bad reviews of this place, but everything was great for me. Good heater. Didn't expect a fridge or microwave, and room had both.

Nothing, really. Kind of expensive for a Motel 6, but not surprising for the area.

Quiet, convenient, budget-friendly.

For the amount of savings you gain by staying here, it’s expected some amenities must be given up. There’s no coffee maker in the room, no mini fridge or microwave, no shampoo. All totally acceptable for the price. Bring what you need with you.

The room was clean and comfortable and in a great location and the staff were very friendly, we also liked that we were able to bring our dog with us for no extra cost.

The ice bucket in our room was the only thing not clean it had something leftover in it that smelled terrible but we were able to clean it out. It would also be nice to have a mini fridge and/ or microwave in the room and a hairdryer.

We were camping nearby and just got the room to take a shower, the TV kept the kids busy and the bed allowed some nap for the parents to switch off while showering.

Nothing, it is MOTEL 6 not like RITZ CARLTON or ST. REGIS. Super convenient parking.
