La Quinta Inn by Wyndham San Diego Chula Vista

It nice a size room although the bathtub floor was somewhat scratched or rough. The mirror frames showed some wear or age. Overall, the bed was comfortable. The free breakfast bar was better than what I expected with fresh waffle mix and paoer lunch bags to stuff some food to take out!

Personally, the coffee at the breakfast bar was horrible for me. It did not taste fresh brewed to me. Also, the remote for TV had be aimed at certain angle to change anything. Just for nick-picking these things, I couldn't rate 10 out off 10. Another thing, the free wifi did not require a password which did make me feel unsecured using it.

Location in relation to where I needed to go and amenities near by.

The water pressure from the sink was a trickle and never warmed up. The shower only had two Temps hot and cold. It was impossible to get warm water.

Our room was extremely clean. While you expect and hope that your room is clean, It is always amazing when your room goes beyond your expectations. We will definitley be staying there again.

Breakfast was a little disappointing. The coffee was pretty great, however on our first morning there, the coffee ran out and we weren't able to wait for it to be replenished. The breakfast selections were not what we had hoped for, but still okay. Finding the laundry facilities was an adventure and was honestly too far from our room for us want to use. There was a little confusion, on our part, on how to pay for the washing machines. We weren't sure if it took credit cards or if we needed to purchase a compatable card to use the washing machines. There seem to be a lot of people smoking on the balcony above us as well.

Everything was great! Was an excellent deal for the price I paid. My kids and I felt very safe and comfortable. Parking was very convenient and loved that there was a Dennys in the same lot as well as convenient stores that were walking distance. Even though we didn't need Dennys due to them offering breakfast each morning but the option was nice. Also loved that they have filtered water, juice and coffee available all the time. I will definitely stay there again!

The beds were pretty small. They should consider have queen beds instead of full. Didn't really like that the 2 ice machines closest to my room didn't work so I had to search for one. Not a super big deal, just inconvenient.

The location was great! Right next to the freeway making it very convenient with alot of restaurants and nightlife around. The beaches are also not to far with options near by should you want something else. Another huge one is no made up fees like the rest of the hotels in hotel circle such as parking or tourism etc. I would stay again.

The bed matress was hard like laying on a cardboard and the pillows were stiff. I assume the matress is foam but again it was very stiff which made it hard to get comfortable.

The room was nice, breakfast was Great, the staff so friendly and helpful. We asked about local restaurants and places to go, they all helped with suggestions. We had a lovely time. Thank you to the entire staff. When we checked out - it seemed that a staff meeting was in process... My husband & I were able to interrupt and thank the team personally. Great job everyone!

Would have liked to take a dip in the pool after 10pm... A jacuzzi would be nice. The room having a desk - reminded me of work, and I was on a Holiday weekend.. No working! (Totally understand for those guests that need to work during their stay) It would have been nice to have a room next to our friends instead of us in 111, and them in 123. Even the floor above would have been ok. I did ask at check in...

Check in and check out was fast, and employees were very friendly. I did enjoy the area we were in.

I just wish I was giving a warning about how I was notified I will pay $982 including taxes and I arrive to having to pay $1,057. The only reason I did not complain was due to the long drive and being with two toddlers. The pricing I receive though my email was not accurate at all. I do not trust to come back.

Parking lot was convenient and we could easily find a spot in front of our room easily. Front desk was open 24/7 and was providing hot water, tea and coffee. Location was also a pro for this hotel. You could easily access to freeways in minutes. Didn't charge any deposits for our 3 nights stay! Front desk people were very kind!

The restroom didn't have an active ventilation system. After each shower the mirror was fully covered by steam and it was going aways after loooong time. Other than this everything was nice!

First time we stay there in La Quinta Chula Vista. And we loved the location! The staff was very nice and the room was clean and super comfortable. And we were walking distance to a great Restaurant Karina Mexican sea food restaurant. And a Denny's right outside the hotel.

Nothing to add . It was a great hotel and will be staying there from now on when visiting San Diego area.

We were on the back so it was silent. The room where we stayed was remodeled, looked beautiful. Very comfortable beds!

Bed was wrinkled, like I understand look like recently unfolded sheets and blankets or directly from drier. Bath tube was probably need 2 inches more of wide. I am size medium but it felt tiny. Breakfast waffles weren't there anymore! But mini-breakfast was ok. Being very picky but I love to stay in that hotel. Again I love to stay in this hotel in the back part because of the noise of the freeway.
