SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Chula Vista West

Hotel was very quiet, my room was very quiet had a nice look towards the Pacific side. The breakfast was very good, everybody could have several options to make his breakfast, either eggs and sausages or muesli or toast with butter and cheese cream or marmelade and different yoghurts. Also directly opposite you have a busstop, another one 50 meters away, A seven eleven shop 30 meters away. The big walmart with all you have forgotten few busstops away. Also the blue tram line stop to San diego or south near the border you get from the bus opposite with few stops for 2,50 dollars

The mixer of the shower went a bit difficult to start but nothing serious

You had a spoon which I didn't have at the other place I stayed at after getting out of the hospital to get cleaned up. Had to eat my cereal and whole milk with my fingers. All that sticky stuff on your body from the IV and heart monitoring. I wanted a bathtub and it is rather expensive for a low income senior after being put in a wheelchair for over fifteen years by my employer Berg Electric out of Escondido. Had some deep vein thrombosis, also known as blood clots. The other place I stayed. All of the machines for ice and other things, were broken. No ironing board with an iron. It probably works but I didn't need it.

Some of the repairs that have been done to the room. Their work isn't up to my personal quality of a job well done. I'd like to do your repairs on the rooms for some extra money. I know for a fact that I can do better than what was done. I took the room on Friday and was told by the front desk that the deal has expired as of tomorrow morning, Tuesday the 28th after asking if I could stay another two nights for the same price.

The room provided to us was spacious and comfortable, perfectly accommodating our family’s needs. Even though it was cold, however around 2 pm the pool was a hit with the whole family. We appreciated the child-friendly menu options in the restaurant. What made our stay especially enjoyable was the hotel’s location. It was conveniently situated close to family attractions and parks, making our outings stress-free and fun. The staff was also incredibly helpful in recommending kid-friendly activities and sites to visit in the area.

A generous parking space would be helpful.

everything was so perfect and comfortable! super clean , beds were amazing . loved the 24hr front desk . 7/11 was right next to it and was very convenient.

the area was a little concerning . also didn’t like the $100 security deposit. it should be cheaper . someone of us don’t have that type of money to spend $200 just for a place to rest before/after a long drive. I booked the hotel because it looked great for the price of $89 but ended up paying $103 plus another $100 for security deposit could’ve paid the same price for a safer area but the hotel itself was amazing it was definitely worth it .

The location of this hotel was convenient to my kids and served it's purpose. While 9/10 of the staff was FAB, there was a front desk person that was not. The pool was closed but opened after a couple of days. Health Department issues!

The Day manager! He was RUDE! I had arranged a late 12:30 check out. Not quite sure what happened but I had confirmed it as I have a Navy kid and he was picking me up. This manager knocked on my door at 11:45 and berated me as to why I hadn't left. Then he badgered me to leave at Noon. I ended up taking a Uber even though my son was on his way from base. Even my Uber driver was shocked and commented that it wasn't a hopping place what was 30 minutes? The breakfast wasn't very breakfasty. It was more like a brown bag lunch you needed the microwave to cook.

Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, very spacious, cool and modern. We enjoyed our stay here a lot. The hotel had many guests but we didn’t hear any noise from anyone and had a peaceful sleep at night. The hotel was a great location for visiting Coronado and a short drive to everything we wanted to see in San Diego

Staff was super friendly. The young men at check in and check out were pleasant and accommodating. Room was clean and had everything it should have had. Breakfast to-go bags were available.

Carpet needs a good wash and mattresses could use an update. A mix of staleness and a hint of smoke filled the room at all times.

Didnt feel like leaving the room as it was raining for the most part but there are all the essentials in the room. We brewed fresh coffee next to our bed. Amazing hot coffee.

No on site guest Laundry, however theres a 24x 7 laundry adjacent to the hotel.

staff was very kind and friendly. As I checked in very late the only room available was the disability one, on 1st floor and close to stairs and vending machine. In the morning I asked to move to a quiet one, and they moved me to an amazing one! Beds were clean and comfortable

I have worked at many hotels and own Choice hotels now. Their cleanliness is way above the other hotels of similar level. The Mattress was comparable to the Sheraton. I was able to sleep like a baby after a business meeting at a nearby location. I was expecting my stay to be an ordinary one but this turned out to be way above my expectations.
