Comfort Inn Humboldt Bay - Eureka

Best accessible room we have e stayed in to date. Liked the bench seat, closet large out, bath. Bath typical accessible, don’t like having to step over side.did like seat at end. Needs a stool that could help folks manage higher bed. At different hotel tonight. Main room a disaster and poor lightening but bath had 2 unique features. a small shelf unit u could sit at in wheelchair if needed.,this one has an adjustable bath chair with back that can be used with it.It can be used at shelf unit or in tub!! Perfect accessory. Add this to your accessible room and i’d give u a 15!!!

Entrance drive very sharp and sudden from 101. Better signage for entrance.,

cleanliness, great beds, excellent breakfasts and the woman who takes such care with the food, cleanliness and good welcome, dower with a robber mat and a sturdy handle for steadiness, friendly and helpful staff, very good absorbent towels.

Above average offerings, and consistently clean accommodations. It's like expensive vanilla.

Find a way to make 2 or 3 or 4 rooms pet-friendly and come up with a boilerplate zero liability form, along with a 15$+ fee for incident insurance, and you'll get more of those tippy top ratings that you enjoy so damn much. Most people don't budget for their pets. Therefore, they're more apt to spend towards their animals than they are towards themselves. Plus when people are in a space that's gone to lengths to accommodate their entire family, they throw more top shelf reviews. Even the added cost of insurance could be seen as an extra step you've gone through just for their dog/cat/marmoset/ferret/honey glider/time traveling jackalope/quokka/koala or cone snail, or whatever animal they've chosen to be a mini reflection of themselves for the world to see.

Very comfortable room upstairs as requested and elevator worked well. Close to 101 but freeway noise not an issue. Staff were great. Housekeeping worked very hard to keep place clean. Breakfast was okay and ready bright and early. Property worked well for us to visit sights and granddaughter at CR.

Pleasantly surprised by this property. Not a great place to walk at motel but you could get to nice trails in 5 minutes. Think it's rated 7.9 or something and I'd give it 8.5 or higher.

The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and quite adequate, with comfortable beds. The "take out breakfast' was an unexpected surprise.

The room was rather small and the bathroom needs some updating. I wasn't crazy for the fact that the shower flows directly onto the floor and there was no shower/tub.

Convenient and clean room with ALL the basic amenities and then some.

Would be nice to have actual electric vehicle charging stations at the property. More and more travelers will be driving "electric" and EV chargers on property is a big PLUS for travelers like myself and there will be more of us as time passes.

I only stayed one night but I liked that the breakfast was served from 6am to 10am. That flexibility was really helpful. There was an indoor pool. The ice machine. Friendliness of the staff. My window actually opened which made me happy because I prefer fresh air to AC at night. Plenty of bath towels! Everything in the room worked like it was supposed to.

•Easy access off highway. •Friendly reception on arrival. •Breakfast room staff lady was very welcoming; kept food topped up and tables clean.

•First room floor windows about 6 feet from parked cars; conversations audible; no privacy to open curtains. •Noise (horns/beeps) from cars being locked. •Not worth the price for room with spa tub. :(

It was very clean, beds were comfy and it had a pool. Nice continental breakfast with hot food that was restocked often. Jaymie from front desk was awesome. This will be our new place to stay when we’re in town. 

Room and facility are clean and well maintained. Good location. Breakfast was above average.

Last minute booking was a little more expensive then we thought, but it was competitive for the location and time of year. Seating etc for breakfast is tiny, have to eat breakfast in your room.
