Comfort Inn & Suites Redwood Country

The location was very good -- at least from the 3rd floor where we requested to be. The view from our window looked out upon the Eel River and park pathway alongside it.

The breakfast -- especially the eggs -- could have been more moist, but there seemed to be only one person staffing the Breakfast Room, and while not crowded while we were, she might have had a lot to do by herself.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was quiet, and we slept well. We enjoyed the hot tub and having a brewery across the parking lot. Across the street is a great walk along the river. The location is not on the ocean but is a short drive to ocean beaches. It was great to have a TV Netflix ready.

The bathroom did not have good lighting.

The property was in a good location, close to shopping center and restaurants. The maintenance staff fixed an issue in our room quickly. The breakfast was good.

Due to the damp air, the paint was chipping around the window. I was disappointed in the room rate for a Comfort Inn. The rate was not very reasonable in price.

Fortuna was a good place to stop because lodging prices were much cheaper than Ferndale, where we were ultimately headed to take a road along the Lost Coast. I had the powdered eggs at the breakfast buffet. Would have much preferred real eggs. I could have made a waffle, but wanted to cut down on the calories a little bit:)

Good value and clean.

Location was not conveniently located close to many restaurants. There was a brewing company close that we were able to get food, but limited menu when you are traveling with teenagers. Lots of road construction outside that started way early, but that won't last forever. Arrive early, because all the restaurants anywhere close close way early.

Breakfast was fine. A continental breakfast but with scrambled powdered eggs and sausage. Waffle maker as well.

Everything was fine. I asked for a room with a view of the parking lot since our group had a dozen motorcycles.

location worked well for us (attending a wedding in Ferndale) Quiet/easy freeway access. kids enjoyed pool/hot tub. Clean/good size suite. Could easily walk to Eel River Brewery for snacks/meals. Friendly staff.

Bed was a little hard for us. I understand the "bagged" breakfast due to Covid-but would've been nice if it was altered each day.

I was assigned a room with a view of the nearby Shell gas staion. I would have preferred a view of the Eel River

very clean, great pool, one can reach everything (shops, Eureka Zoo, Redwood National Park) easy by car

The shower is not really made for tall people… but that‘s really all.

I loved the suite. It has a gorgeous room facing the river. Also, it is a friendly and clean environment. It is reasonably priced.

I was sad there wasn't a breakfast bar but it's COVID, and they had bagged breakfast. I wish the variety was a little different but it worked.
