Eureka Town House Motel - Historic Old Town

Manager and staff were very friendly. The location to downtown was great! I slept very well though there was some loud strange female commotion in the middle of the night. Didn’t last long. The room was very comfortable. I loved that you could open the window and air the place out. I don’t like using air conditioning units.

It was slightly stuffy but aired out easily.

Covered parking was great since we were traveling on motorcycles. Danny checked us in and made sure our bikes had a good location away from the street. Friendly staff. Clean room. The location is great for walking to various restaurants and other attractions.

It would be nice to have pillows that vary from soft to firm in the room (we didn’t ask, so we don’t know if they had different pillows available).

Danny went out of his way to let us cancel at no penalty because I had requested a first floor room and they did not have any. He actually wrote me three times but I did not check my email as very little internet available and traveling by motorcycle so not conducive to reading mail. Danny was truly excellent customer service. Property recently renovated.

No elevators

Danny at reception gave us a very warm welcome and provided info regarding our room and location. Room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. Location to waterfront was excellent. The whole hotel setting was pleasant with how rooms are laid out and we liked that the parking was below the rooms.

Nothing

This location in very centrally located near old town Eureka. An easy stroll to the brewery, or have Humboldt county’s best steak right next door! Danny the manager is very friendly and helpful. A ten minute walk to the bay and you can buy fresh Dungeness crab.

Not much down side.

From the outside the place appeared to be showing some signs of age but the rooms themselves were neat clean and tidy. Danny at the front desk was extremely helpful with all my questions and special requests, he made it super easy to add an extra night when the rains set in. Thanks very much.

Very good location, close to the old town. Small, nice motel.

Housekeeper used a lot of chlorine to clean the room so the smell was unbearable. Warning for older or disabled persons : rooms are only upstairs.

Location great for tourists. Walking distance to historic sites in Old Town and beautiful waterfront

Property was fine. Like everywhere in the US people living in parks, looking down and out .

For being an older motel it was very clean. Danny at the front desk was very friendly. Deborah in housekeeping was excellent. She was so nice and very helpful. Everything was in walking distance. Will definitely be back!

The bed was a little too firm but still worth it!

Good staff. Friendly. Parking in garage is convenient.

Paid waaay too much for this room. And although there were other rooms available they put me and my daughter who’s 2 1/2 right above the office so I felt like I had to keep her from making any noise all night and as you know with a 2 year old that’s extremely hard to do
