Hotel Vinea Healdsburg

before we arrived, we received a call asking if we’d like to be upgraded to a king suite. as I was traveling with my teenage daughter, we opted to keep our dual queen room. We asked for top floor and we’re pleased with how updated the room was. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom had been recently updated to a spa-style with three shower heads including a rain head. As my daughter got off the airplane with a chest cold setting in, we were grateful for the spa-like bath to help her feel better.

It is very close to the freeway and across the street from a busy gas/service station. In spite of the proximity to both, the noise level isn’t excessive. While it wasn’t an issue for us, it should be noted that there is no elevator, so the second floor is not accessible for those who can’t navigate stairs.

Location is good, hotel was clean. Price was great for the area. The bed was comfortable. I was happy with my stay. For the price it's a great deal. Only thing that could been better was the breakfast I will list on the box of improvements. I did like the waffle maker and the fresh fruit.

Breakfast could be better, I only drink decaffeinated coffee at the breakfast room they only offered regular and the machine that offers decaffeinated you need to insert coins. The orange juice was just color orange juice. The milk container was empty in the refrigerator. So breakfast could be a bit improved.

My wife and traveled from Placerville Ca to wine taste in Napa. After a fun day tasting wines we arrived at the motel. we found the room very clean and were pleasantly surprised to find the walking trail to Healdsburg near. After a great walk we returned. Everything about this motel was very nice including the continental breakfast. we will be back!

There really was not anything that we would have wanted for the price. the motel satisfied our needs.

Robin did a wonderful job of putting information together for us regarding places to see and restaurants she recommended. We were very pleased with her recommendations!! She went above and beyond!

We would have liked eggs/bacon/sausage for breakfast. Had to heat up waffle and syrup in the microwave in our room. Also was surprised there was not an elevator, so requested a 1st floor room, which was luckily available.

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The room was new and very clean. Nice shower with three shower heads. The bed was very comfortable. Plus, lots of different mood lights in the room. Our room was on the parking lot side and was very quiet. Heard just light footsteps above but nothing to complain about.The free breakfast was your typical hotel fare. Across the street is a coffee place that has some breakfast options. There is also a lit and paved walking path to downtown steps away from the hotel.

I like the fact that it’s location is convenient for traveling. The property and rooms were clean, I’ve been to other hotels that were more $$$ that weren’t this clean. The staff was really nice actually didn’t feel like a staff they felt more like friends

Honestly, nothing really. The parking lot could be a little bigger. But the hotel feels so intimate that, the parking actually works

Room and facility very clean and up to date. . A few minutes drive to Healdsburg,a Lovely town. great spot for exploring Alexander Valley and their big reds. Self serve breakfast included and did the job.

Staff nearly invisible-didn’t saw a single person after check in (yet place was clean, breakfast room stocked). No lobby-it’s a place to sleep that is well kept for a reasonable price for Sonoma.

very good central location, beautiful classic building right on the Old Court House Square, close to several good restaurants and nice shops

no negative comments, but there are small thing they can improve to make it absolutely 6 stars; 1. Add grab bars for the shower 2. move the wall mounted long mirror to the wall by the wall next to the entry door of the room. in our room # 408 the mirror is behind the large lamp on the night stand! we cannot use the mirror !

The place was surprisingly quite nice and comfortable, with nicely painted rooms. Staff was friendly and the place was easy access to downtown Healdsburg's wine tasting rooms, with just about a 25 minute walk. Parking was free.

The continental breakfast was a little sparse, with only dairy milk, just a waffle machine for hot food, and a smattering of other items and toasts and breakfast foods. There were a couple light stains on top of the duvet. Wifi wasn't great in our room on the third floor. The only toiletries in the room were shampoo, conditioner, and one bar hand soap; there was no lotion.

Very Clean. It’s a newer hotel but none the less, upkeep is great. Definitely not like the your Grampa’s Travelodge. Rooms are on the smaller side but make up for it in cleanliness and layout. Bigger isn’t always better! Towels galore, carpet was clean, tile is spotless. Large well lit bathroom. ADA curbless shower rocks. Didn’t feel like I needed a blacklight to check for “fingerprints”. If you have ever stayed at the tired hotel across the street, this little guy will be your new fave. Staff is very professional. Extremely impressed.
