Holiday Inn Express Windsor Sonoma Wine Country, an IHG Hotel

They let us check us check in right away. The room was quiet and we had a great view! Parking spaces were roomy enough to get in and our of car with baby. Hotel had open air concept and I didnt feel trapped next to people that were uncomfortable. Walkable location to shops and eating. Cold water and apples were next to elevator.

The shower in the spa room didnt work and a lady with five little kids used it to pee, no bathroom close by that we saw. I didnt like the american cheese in my egg at breakfast and there wasnt any type of meat. The worst part was there were no bananas anywhere and I am not an apple person, so there wasnt breakfast for a one year old.

The reception staff were efficient, friendly and courteous, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was much better than most of our experiences in this type of hotel. The breakfast area was kept spotless and food choices refilled promptly. Hot dishes were varied each day. Again, cheerful and efficient staff are always a bonus.

The location was great. Close to everything and easy to find. The breakfast was excellent. Several healthy choices. I was extremely grateful they kept the breakfast available until 10. I felt like I could relax in the room with coffee and still have time to get breakfast, rather than feeling rushed. The room was extremely clean and the patio was perfection! It was large and really private and facing west so we saw a beautiful sunset.

I felt it was a little pricey but I know wine country is like that. I am glad I paid extra for the balcony, though. That was worth it. And the breakfast made me feel better about what I spent!

Love this quiet location next to the highway but you can't hear it. Easy on and off. Favorite restaurant near by and the met my on line requests.

Breakfast. I do not like cheese in my eggs. Bagels were a bit dense. I was disappointed the pool or spa were not open and we were not forewarned. Ruined our mother daughter night.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was nice and professional with exception of one of the morning receptionist that gave me an attitude for requesting the invoice, other then that our stay was pleasant and comfortable.

Everything was secure, nice and clean, nothing that I didn’t like. I’m not sure if the area was so safe though.

Breakfast offered low carb options! Staff kept the breakfast bar adequately stocked. The salt water pool was refreshing. Staff was helpful/cheerful Beds were comfortable. Liked the shampoo/conditioner/body wash set up in the shower. The body wash was great for our sensitive skin, the hair products have non damaging ingredients.

Air conditioner took too long to cool down room. Vending machine would not accept quarters, only bills. Not enough coffee pods in room. Room sleeps 4 but had one pod of regular and one pod decaf. Coffee quality is poor overall. Several of the self serve breakfast machines were out of order.

The staff is incredibly nice and helpful. my room is always very clean.

My shower, which is also the jetted tub, did not appear to have been cleaned. my first time using the shower, I immediately noticed two pubic hairs on the wall. After that, I wouldn’t use the jetted tub, which was a disappointment.

When we got to the property at a very nice roundabout entrance karma walked in there was cheese, crackers, strawberries, And cookies. Then we go upstairs to our room and there was a basket of Local apples in the hall they really know how to take care of you on your travels. The breakfast was absolutely delicious they had everything hot and cold.

Absolutely wonderful staff in all departments! This place is well run and they want to be certain your needs are met. I had needed to adjust my stay and they made sure I was able to do so. I spoke with the front desk, the manager, and some grounds staff and each person was very welcoming. They were clearly trained on customer service.

There wasn't anything I didn't like. The grounds and staff were all spot on and I felt the area was safe and accommodating. I appreciated the price point and even though I came with only my spouse I would bring my family here too.

The staff was amazing! Breakfast was self serve/ free and provided a lot of options. There was something for everyone! Beds were comfortable, the wifi was free and the TV was a nice size! Another nice feature was that the refrigerator was not tiny!

They put a closed sign on the jacuzzi, but you could enter it by the pool. The implication was you couldn't use the spa. When I finally asked, they said it was because the key entry didn't work. The sign just should have said use the pool entrance!
