Hyatt Centric the Pike Long Beach

The location was perfect! Close to tons of shopping, right across from the water. There was even a restaurant inside of the hotel that offered a full menu, bar and coffee bar with barista + different breakfast sandwiches, etc. My highlights of the hotel itself was the comfort of the room, the rooftop pool and so random but the water dispenser by the elevator (so smart and helpful).

Parking was not ideal. There’s a huge garage right beside the hotel however they will not validate and so each time you take your car out you have to pay the fee.

Perfect location. No need to travel anywhere. Everything from the beach, dining and shopping is within a short walking distance.

The location is perfect, and we like the pool, cabanas, and seating with good views.The man cleaning that area on 7/08 was really thorough with his job, and kept it really clean and we appreciate it.

The fridge in our room was not working properly as it didn't get cold. However, they brought us a side fridge that worked properly. Also, it would be nice to have a microwave in our room. We had to ask for them to bring that as well. So that was nice to accommodate.

Very spacious room- king. Comfortable bed. Loved motion light at bottom of bed. Gorgeous pool area. Convenient for convention centre.

Minimal view from room, great view from pool area though. No breakfast, marketplace shop ground floor that could buy breakfast at, I did not try it. Bar and food in pool area only available weekends. Not sure if room service- could not find it and marketplace had minimal offerings after 1pm.

Location was good and convenient, staff was friendly and helpful to accommodate. The room artfully appointed with a modem decor Love white sheets and fluffy blanket

My room was crammed, it was advertised for 3 people but even with one of them being a child it was just too small to enjoy And no storage space for belongings.

The room was perfect for only myself staying there. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had a sweet design and was clean, and the hotel was located in a great spot.

The only thing that I can think of that I didn't like was the parking situation. I had to pay $16.00 a night (if I didn't leave during the day at all) to keep my car in a public parking garage. I think the hotel should help get involved in lowering parking costs for guests that stay at the hotel.

- Location of the hotel is just next to the Pike Outlets, and other amenities are within walking distance or short car rides. - Staff are friendly & efficient is providing service. - Rooms are well maintained and cosy. - Area is not too busy and not too crowded

That is was super close to the venue that we attended which was awesome 👍.

The flooring in the room needs some type of small rug or something waking up to that super cold floor, one of the elevator's was not working, and the t. v was horrible was scared to even touch it because it felt like it was going to fall from the wall.

Clean room and spacious bed. Staff was friendly and approachable. Conveniently located near shopping plaza and walking distance to the Aquarium.

Perhaps parking situation can be improved by having a parking section specifically for hotel guests only. The hotel shares a parking structure with the shopping plaza.

The cafe in the hotel, the employees were unprofessional. The older lady was pleasant, repeated our order back to us, then proceeded to mess up the order, and then told us we didn’t order what we said we did. Then says she didn’t charge us, but she did. And my girlfriend is lactose intolerant so we ordered a drink with oat milk, and once again she repeated out oat back to us, and gave us vanilla milk. I brought the drink back up to her and she said we never ordered that. I said, you even repeated it back to us. The barista proceeded to give us a dirty look, so we said you know what, we’ll just keep the drink. Everything else was pleasant at the Hotel, except for the cafe visit.
