love the location, the amenities and staff were all great and free shuttle to cruise terminal

there were no towels by the pool and it was cold outside in the afternoon. we requested towels and it took 2 hours for them to come.

This place has got to be by far the best hotel I have stayed in hands down!!!!! It’s pet friendly! Check in was so fast and easy, the restaurant and bar staff were absolutely incredible. The food was great and drinks were heavy handed. Room was beautifully decorated and clean, pool was an absolute dream after dancing all night at the event we attended just 2 mins away. Room service was offered every morning. I will be making this my yearly spot to stay at ever June moving forward. Thank you Hotel Maya peace ✌🏻 out

The only gripe I have would be that I feel like hotel parking should be free for at least one car if you are the main person staying. I know parking is limited so definitely charge if there’s another car but maybe allow one car free cause y’all are expensive as hell lol.

The property was beautiful and in a beautiful location.

The only issue I had was that I was charged for a bill at Fuego and I never ate there. I had went to the front desk and they said they needed to do an investigation. I had to call a hundred times to speak to someone. Then when I did get ahold of someone they told me I had to speak to the restaurant manager. Had to call a hundred more times and when i finally did speak with the manager he told me the exact same thing the front desk staff said. They needed to investigate. After about two weeks the refund showed up in my bank account. I was relieved.

We are Orange County locals and the proximity of this location is a perfect weekend getaway place. It has great atmosphere and one can easily forget you are still in LA or the USA for that matter.

While the premises/rooms are advertised as smoke-free, our unit had a subtle smoke smell. For the daily fair being a bit on the high, the room should've had at least an upgrade for a lamp/radio/outlet for USB charging. We feel that concierge is fixed on giving the patrons the units and there isn't much flexibility on getting a different unit under special circumstances.

Such a beautiful hotel ♥️ Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room and view was beautiful. The beds were so comfortable, we slept amazing. The pool and jacuzzi were at perfect temperature. Absolutely loved our stay, wish we could’ve stayed longer. The only down side is the pool and fire pits close at 10, a little early for our preference but still a great experience. Thank you so much

The fire pits could stay on a little longer, 10 pm is a little early. We would’ve like to enjoy them for a longer time.

Love the location and the aesthetic/atmosphere. great hotel.

There were just a few minor things that weren’t great about the hotel. First, the pool bathroom (there is only one) and it was really gross and dirty. Needed some serious attention/cleanup throughout the day. Second, our room was nice but the robes were worn out and one had a big hole in it. Neither of these were a huge deal but could definitely improve.

The room and location at the Maya was amazing. I’ve been staying at the Maya for years and it never disappoints. The ocean view is my favorite!

The staff was not the friendliest nor were they helpful. Young Hispanic male at front desk ( I believe he was a manager) was extremely rude and even got disrespectful after I ask for wristbands that were not given to me

View was beautiful and the fire pits are a nice touch. Restaurant is great too. Staff friendly and accommodating.

When I first arrived they could not find my reservation as I had booked it under a 3rd party. I was a little worried but the guest greeter in the front was able to find it, so i was happy about that.

The room was bigger than I expected, complete with a balcony. We found it to be very clean and comfortable. The hotel setup reminded me of courtyards in the Caribbean. We had a room with a "garden view" which means we didn't overlook the water, but I appreciated that the balcony faced away from the parking lot. Pretty good value for money.

The hotel's a little out of the way, and you need a car to get around. So it was a little disappointing that Fuego, the hotel restaurant/bar, stops serving new customers at 9 PM. We were there on vacation, so being turned away at 9 PM was a little annoying, especially since there's nothing close by in the area.

prívate, beautiful views, great for family or girls trip!

we chose garden view and they gave us a room on the third floor, still good views but we wanted the lawn chairs. Upon our arrival there was a tray of food that was left near the elevator and trash can and it wasn’t picked up until the next day.
