Fantastic location; truly great staff. lovely vibe; friendly and welcoming. Very clean.

Rooms can be quirky; choose carefully. Some are quite small (even when expensive.) Terrace rooms are tiny with almost no privacy. There is no AC in most rooms and no cross ventilation. Lack of food service isn’t ideal; store and restaurant next door don’t make up for limited dining options on site. There are excellent bakeries and gourmet shops in nearby towns, but you have to drive. Night driving here can be treacherous. We stayed a week and loved the Point Reyes National Seashore; it’s exquisite. Olema House was a great place to work from in exploring the coast. OH is worth a visit!

This is really a roadside motel, not a hotel. That said, it's a very nice motel, with well-appointed rooms. The staff is friendly, and had a place to safely lock our touring bicycles. The restaurant next door, which seems to be affiliated with the hotel, looks like a bar, but has surprisingly good food.

The price seems very high for what is basically an upscale motel. We stayed here because we arrived by bicycle, and there aren't many other options. One nit about the room (#8 or #9?) - it has a step in the middle of the bathroom, which is rather dangerous at night. I don't know what the architect was thinking.

Beautiful location, beautifully kept grounds and rooms. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The furnishings were lovely, and I appreciated the water and wine gifts.

In room 9, the only two chairs were very low like beach chairs. For me personally, I was unable to use those chairs (due to knee issue) and spent most of my time sitting on the bed. Other than that, everything was perfect for me.

Excellent location and easy access. The highlight of the place is the lobby and common areas, and the second highlight is the green lush area with stream. Beautiful trees and shrubs. The room is very modern/rustic and clean!

The room didn't have AC (we went during heatwave) and it was very hard to fall asleep in heat. The hotel could really use a nice pool to soak on or swim.

We liked the well maintained garden especially the area at the bottom of the garden near the stream and the "retreat" area. It would be nice to spend the whole day in relaxing mode with our favorite books. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom and the pear/apple had many flowers. They were gorgeous. The bed was very comfortable and the bathtub with jaccuzi was nice, too. We liked the doors that open to the garden to give us a nice garden view and the access. The staff who took care of the maintenance of the facility were all friendly and nice.

The three steps from the entrance/ toilet/bathtub area down to the bed area were not equipped with the rails on the sidewalls. We thought it was not safe for elderly people like us especially in the middle of the night. We wish the receptionist were friendlier and more courteous. Her explanation not to give out the printed detailed receipt to the guests who made the reservation through the third party ( like Booking.com) was hard to understand. We haven't received the email receipt either yet as she said that would be done. Her explanation about the $100. deposit and the refund policy was not well explained either. We all understand the difficulty of the travel related businesses had to face during the pandemic and still do, but hope the details would be honored.

Good location for us, comfortable king bed, pretty view-nice staff.

Since the hotel is a renovated (lovely) old hotel, the rooms —& especially the bathroom—are quite small. we are tall people so cramped for usbut we still lved being there.

The cleanest rooms with heated floors, a jacuzzi style bathtub, a very comfortable bed, and lots of wonderful touches. The location is near Point Reyes Station (cutest little town) and the nearby nature areas as well. There is no cell service outside of Olema House, so make sure you have directions to it figured out beforehand!

There was a surprise "resort fee" when we checked in which included WiFi, a bottle of wine and water in the room, and parking. Not a huge deal, but with the cost of the room, I would have expected these amenities to be included.

The land is beautiful around the Olema House. We liked the Due West restaurant and market being right next door. Overall, wonderful location.

Our front door was broken. We couldn’t get in as the handle would not allow the door to open. We had to go in through the back door during the stay. When I brought it up to the front desk she said they had been having issues with it during prior guests stays. For the amount of money per night, I would hope they’d take that a bit more serious.

The staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. We were traveling with our dog Sam and they brought him a lovely dog bed and dog bowls. We had a sitting bay window overlooking the lovely grounds and in the morning, two bucks were grazing. Amazing.
