Travelodge by Wyndham Redding CA

Staff was incredibly accommodating & friendly. They went far above & beyond to help us & even gave us a free upgrade because there was availability. Breakfast was darned good (for being FREE -- can't be too picky) & the site was spotless. Not a 5-star resort, but perfectly suited if you need a safe place to stay overnight while traveling from Point A to Point B.

If I had to nitpick, the amenities aren't super high-end, but it's a TRAVELODGE!! It's safe, clean, the price is right, & there's plenty of parking.

large room with double bed and full kitchen. AC worked, bed was comfortable and clean, large parking lot. pet friendly. breakfast had eggs, sausage and make your own waffles, as well as cold cereal and yogurt. friendly staff. had problem with TV and called front desk who explained to hold enter button down to reset.included dishes, pots, utensils which we did not use.

huge crack in shower wall from ceiling to top of tub, it was repaired so did not affect the shower experience other than being unsightly. stove top was scratched but did not use stove. several dead gnats at sink, bathroom walls not very clean

There was a full size refrigerator in our room, which was great. I was able to get everything in the fridge while I refroze my ice packs and ice. Important in 106 degree weather. Breakfast was decent. Staff was friendly and helpful.

A little tight on parking spaces, but there seemed to be one per room. The earlier you get there, the closer to the room you will be able to park. You will need to drive to get food. No place close/within walking distance.

The room was nice but light not completely blocked by front curtain and upstairs I could easily hear the TV above me on second floor and kept waking me up even with AC fan turned on to block noise. I prefer quiet while sleeping. Manager later told me I should have called the front desk

I've stayed here several times and always really enjoy the staff. The rooms are generally pretty clean, and the location is good, especially if you're traveling on I-5. It can get very hot in Redding, so the pool is also a nice feature.

This past visit, the bed frame seemed a little odd, not really connected to the headboard. I also feel like there's a bit of deferred maintenance, like the bathrooms could use a refresh.

Very friendly staff, Dee introduced herself immediately, she was helpful in showing me to my room and where to park. They have a nice outdoor pool. Good hot breakfast available. Lovely building. Not much traffic noise.

The shower/tub didn't have any slip resistance and I had to be cautious about possible falls. A safety grab bar would be nice. No elevator, so if steps are a problem ask for a first floor room.

The staff was very friendly and professional...room & grounds were very clean... property was very quiet...heater worked well

The frame of bed was larger than mattress therefore I kicked the metal frame several times...would have been much better if frame...like other pieces of furniture had 4 -6 inches inset...but in alternative since you put so much money into motel already...you could wrap legs in foam rubber...to prevent injuries

I truly appreciated that the breakfast included gluten free options. The eggs were good and the option of gluten free toast was helpful. My husband who isn't gluten enjoyed the waffles.

There wasn't much I didn't like as the room was as I expected. It would have been nice if it was closer to Highway 5 which is the freeway we were traveling down. The only other negative was that the room was very cold when we got there and took a while to warm up.

The staff are the real stars here, customer service was first rate. They fixed a problem I had with the room immediately and were very pleasant. Room was very clean, parking was ample, location was great. Coffee available in the lobby. Lots of folks there were traveling with their dogs, seems like a good choice for anyone traveling with a pet.

Sometimes a little noisy. Older, updated property. I thought the location was great, but the central area location might not appeal to everyone. I was moved to another room, and I think the smaller rooms are a little nicer.

The bed was comfy like my bed at home, very impressed. The breakfast bar was plentiful and both front clerks, the woman the morning we checked out, and Alex the afternoon clerk, were both excellent.

Fan in bathroom didn't work. Bathtub very slippery, needs those strips that prevent sliding. Outlet for Hair dryer and coffee pot out of order.
