Courtyard by Marriott Fishermans Wharf

The hotel was perfect for location, cleanliness, staff, security. The hotel is steps from Pier 39, restaurants, attractions. The hotel has great aesthetics, with cucumber and/or lemon water freely provided at entrance near elevators. Room was clean & comfy, quiet - Room on 4th floor facing the main street; great shower. There is The Pizza Zone across the street with delicious pizza open late, Norman's Ice Cream (probably better than Ghiradelli, with no long line) a short walk to The Cannery District - the ice cream is very yummy and the owner is super friendly and accommodating; there's a convenience liquor store right next to the hotel; Go to the Crepe Cafe next door !! I go to In&Out Burger all the time at home, so I did not do that, plus the lines to order were ridiculous (just like at home :). Just walking around, people watching, breathing in the ocean air. The weather was perfect! Hotel Staff was great, friendly and professional. Hotel gym!

The hotel did not provide free breakfast, fee for a la carte.

The staff is absolutely fabulous, they keep their word, and the location. I had asked for a microwave in our room if it was possible. They informed me it was by availability and they would make a note in my booking. We did get a microwave and it helped us to enjoy all our delicious meals from the city a second time around. The food places are a little hard to find but they taste so good! The hotel was walking distance from several peers that we were scheduled to visit. Took us about 25 minutes resting several times and taking in the scenery to reach Alcatraz at Peer 33. The staff was very knowledgeable about attractions and locations. The breakfast place, I believe it is called Table 580, was not open to the public only for parties, so plan on going elsewhere for breakfast or bringing your own. I do recommend an ice chest, the refrigerator in the room is a little small. The hotel does have a room for fitness if your interested. Also, there is a small market near the desk that has some basic essentials and snacks. The parking garage is right next door and I highly recommend using it. It is a daily rate but the piece of mind of knowing your vehicle is safe is worth it. Just let the staff know you will be using it. Very important to know is that there is a pull in drive type area to park and check in and bring your stuff up to the room before utilizing the garage. Our room was very quiet we did not hear anyone else in the hotel unless they were in the hall talking when we opened the door. The bed is up off the ground I had to climb in, it was super soft and so comfortable. Due to Covid if you want your room cleaned you do need to ask in advance; you may want to bring a couple small garbage bags. We filled the garbage cans quickly between the four of us. We just asked for anything we needed and they gave it to us no questions asked. On the tv they have Netflix; if you have an account you can log in and watch your programs.

There was no pool or hot tub. Not a deal breaker at all. A nice hot shower worked instead.

we found the breakfast to be great - cheap and simple and close :-). location is good when you aim to go to Fishermans Wharf but unfortunately there is nothing to do there after 9pm so we found ourselves going to other places which were a bit remote.

beds were not comfortable. location - see above. room was serviced only every other day, which was a bit disappointing. no bell boy to help with the luggage and with scheduling with a taxi to the airport.

Location, location, location! It has easy access to the Pier, the trolley, turnabout, beach at Pier Park and when hungry just stop at In ‘n Out! Also, they held my luggage for a couple of hours until I had t leave for my flight…awesome!

My room had a small balcony, which was really nice and very private. However, no matter how hard I tried, I could not lock the door to the balcony and that made me nervous.

Nice place , well located, close to several city attractions, I thought maybe better to stay close to Union Square. I glad I chose the Wharf, I think unless do you like spend mostbof the time shopping it is better to stay in the Wharf , specially with kids.

A bite pricy, but the rate was competitive. Breakfast not included but the restaurant in the hotel was good.

The area was perfect for our trip. Everything we wanted to visit was pretty walkable. The room was clean and we were able to check in a little early. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Everything that could be controlled was great. The city picking up the garbage bins at 4 in the morning was loud enough to wake us, but that is not anything you might not have occur anywhere.

Location and staff are great.

Rooms are too quiet. Need some white noise w room fans. Also toilet water is too high, can barely sit. Gross. This has actually been an issue for years across several older SanFran hotels in the fisherman's wharf area. Will be hard to forget about the negatives.

Joe Rozo was outstanding, he checked us in and was very helpful , and professional . He spent plenty of time with us helping plan and book tours.He was very informative and made great recommendations.We loved Joe !

Excellent location within walking distance of Pier 39 and cable cars. Also, right next door to car rental company which made picking up a car really easy, The bedroom and bathroom were both spacious and well equiped.

There were no vegetarian or gluten free options for breakfast

Location is awesome! Staff were super helpful!

We checked in with my 17 year old teenage son so the fold out couch was too little for an adult size teenager so the gal at the front desk moved us. Very grateful!
