Marina Inn

The room and the hotel was absolutely beautiful. It was like taking a step back into the 1930s with a splash of modern decor. The staff was absolutely amazing and helpful. Susie at the front desk was a joy to chat with.

The elevator was broke, but it wasn’t that bad and the night attendant had an attitude when I asked him for the Wi-Fi password he told me that I woke him up out of his sleep, and on another night he had company behind the desk with him and well let’s just say I’m glad that my kids weren’t with me because I believe he was having an entanglement with his company they were behind a curtain, and it was very awkward, because things could be seen from underneath the curtain

Location is close to some nice eateries. walking distance to Fishermans Wharf. and close to Bus network. Friendly and helpful staff and WiFi speeds are fine to work remotely.

I was given a room that was not made ready. staff very apologetic. I was given a new room but that had a noisy Fridge so I unplugged it. Not the first person to do so as it had mold inside since fridges gather mold when unplugged and not leaving the door slightly open. The hotel is a little tired and the outside is in need of a renovation paint job. I can see they are doing renovations and this will take time. Friendly and helpful staff however. It is one of the cheapest hotels on Booking.com so the price is fair for what you get.

The location was exactly. You are walking distance to historic marina, and a public library. Also easy bus ride (28) DOWN LOMBARD TO THE BEST VIEW OF THE GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE AND CONTINUE TO STONESTOWN SHOPPING MALL. THE # 30 TO UNION STATION THROUGH CHINA TOWN.

It was the cable TV WAS A PROTECT WITH SPECTRUM. HOWEVER THE HOTEL.HERE IN OAHU HAWAII HAD SPECTRUM AND I HAD NO PROBLEM.

I love where I was placed and the room was perfect for me! The place is still being renovated from what I see, the elevator needs to be fixed, the rooms need air conditioner when it gets hot or fan and the WiFi is in and out but overall the place is great! The person who checked me in and out was great and helpful when needed so overall it was amazing!

The Marina Inn, was perfect for my stay. It is not fancy but the staff were kind and friendly and the location was perfect for what I needed. This place is what it is, I loved it and would stay again.

There was nothing I did not like.

Convenient location, mostly safe area

I would highly recommend more hooks in the rooms, as well as furniture to put clothes in / on. The room was quite big, so better ways to organize like hooks to hang items on and furniture would have been helpful. A mini fridge would have also been great to add.

Marina Inn is at a great location: a nice part of town and close to the Union St transit hub. I do like the Marina neighborhood. My room was spacious, the water was always the right temperature, the pillows were comfortable. Loved the refrigerator and ice availability. Thank you.

I loved it all!

Daniel was a dear and helped carry my luggage upstairs since the elevator wasn't working. I loved the vintage aspect of the hotel and room -- and I loved the location. It would have been nice if it wasn't under renovation but the bed and bedding were very comfortable, the free wifi and TV was nice (odd that it didn't get local stations but I appreciated the cable stations), and the two fans in the room were lovely. All in all, for the price, it was a lovely place to stay in San Francisco -- and within walking distance of Fisherman's Wharf and Ghardelli's. :)

It'll be amazing once the renovations are done. I wish the elevator had been working, and there was carpet on the stairs and in the room, and the ice machine had ice in it without a 20-minute wait. I hope they put a small table and chairs by the microwave. And maybe get local stations on the TV?

The family that runs this Inn are the best! They always say and do the right thing. I try to stay here whenever I am in town specifically to support them…
