Motel 6 San Francisco CA Fishermans Wharf

The pictures online are not up to date - the rooms appeared to have updates including vinyl/laminate flooring of sorts (no carpet, thank goodness) and semi-updated showers/flatscreens. The furniture/fixtures are not up to date but had all standard/basic amenities that you might need. very small packets of the toiletries in rooms (maybe 1 use equivalent) - may need to bring your own. Location was ideal, we’re city walkers so we did a ton of walking but we’re close to just about everything. Would recommend, unlikely to get early check-in though, appears to be related to staffing but seems to be similar everywhere.

Given 1 wash cloth and two different sized towels for 2 guests. No extra towels available. Need to update property pictures for proper assessment when using booking platforms.

The property was alright, room was clean, some dark spot were starting to appear in the bath room, I do believe it is value for money , and not far from the hustle and bustle of Fisherman’s wharf. There is parking but you have to pay for it, but still better than the prices they ask for parking elsewhere. Staff where not overly friendly. Value for money and no frills.

Staff could have been a bit friendlier, keep an eye on the mild in the Bathroom .

I really like the remodel of the room, new wall heater and upgraded the flooring and new sensor lights and had a coffee pot in the room. Quite very much enjoyed the bed, was comfortable. 👍 Nice restroom and shower except needed to be scrubbed and sanitized. Could still smell the funny shellac smell from upgrading the room. Other then the bathroom need to be scrubbed down very much enjoyed the stay.

if anyone has been to San Francisco you will know parking is a horrible experience and also very risky and dangerous. (car thief, complex street parking rule car being towed, and I experienced both before). Van Ness Inn is one of the rare property that offers parking on site! Take it !! 1. Parking parking parking!! Available for a rental car tourist like myself. :-) Very happy 2. Relatively clean property (small cockroaches exist they came out at late night, but this is normal in every single big cities I stay before almost all hotels cannot avoid this issue, LA, New York, Hong Kong) 3. working microwave 4. working fridge 5. working bathroom with nice hot shower 6. friendly staffs 7. AMAZING location, small walk to Lombard Street and Fisherman wharf. 8. Quiet, Not exactly in city center, at the edge of the city with much less hustles.

Pillows were hard, shower grout needed cleaning, only gave 2 towels. Did not check on room while gone for the day so trashcan was not emptied, bed not made, towels were not replaced with new towels. No do not disturb or maid needed sign. Ice machine did not work. Attempt to steal gas was made. Employee scared me by walking up from behind and trying to get us to check out early.

The location was perfect. Within a walking distance to the Wharf, and the buses right across the street. Along with grocery store, diner, right opposite of the inn going from one corner to the other. Nice neighborhood

My microwave had no plate and the button to open it was cracked. There is no phone in the room to call the front desk if you have a question. If you wanted or needed something you would have to walk down to the office. Although I wasn't really in the need of anything

hey you get you pay for. I have been there before so I knew exactly what the place is and where it is located. I am sure I can start pointing our imperfections and defects but If you want real luxury go to the Hilton or Marriot. If you want a reasonably priced (for San Francisco) place to sleep, this place is just fine

I like everything that is offered including the service sometimes there are smiles other times not but its straight to the point and have a good day dont expect a concierge service cause you are on your own till the maids get there dont ask for a plunger just contact the service you acquired the room from and ask a discount from them

Not much not too like considering the value you get what you pay for those that complain have higher expectations cause its san francisco but life is really not lavish in big cities anywhere in the world most inn motels hotels are not for the traveler rather for the local residents who cant afford the outrages deposits and expectations of a qualified good standing banking and savings account to get into an apartment

It was great for the price. Comfortable beds and a great location. The room was spacious. Loved the free parking We accidentally left shoes in the room and the staff were kind and looked for us.

The wifi didn't work for us.

When I booked the room I expected it to be smaller and with the 3 queen beds crowded together. But it was 2 queen beds at the entrance and one on the back in a separate room. Bathroom and floors seemed to be renovated judging by the photos it had attached before.

The only thing I didn't like was that one of the bed sheets had stains of wax on it . And the toilet paper roll was low and an extra one was not found in the room. Also since it's a family room I expect to have a bit bigger trash can . Plus the TV remote was not working at all!
