The Suites at Fisherman's Wharf

Overall we thought this was very good accommodation; very clean, size of most rooms very good & it had a well equipped kitchen with plenty of work surface. Since we eat most meals in, this was very appreciated. Wi-Fi very good. Excellent location for Alcatraz ferry; about 20 mins walk. Staff were helpful & very pleasant. There is a useful, small launderette on-site.

The floor boards above us were very creaky & whoever was above walked about constantly. Bathroom is small. Didn't like having minimal natural light in the bedroom - our room backed onto the internal area of the block. There was quite a lot of road noise, which wasn't conducive to sitting out on the balcony. Fisherman's Wharf is very touristy, so from our point of view, it did not appeal to us. Other people would have found it fine though.

I searched thouroghly for family rooms with separate bedroom in SF and this was a very good choice. the location is fantastic, the public transportation is at your doorstep (line 28 takes you to golden gate viewing area and to the park, line 30 to china town and city center) and the rooms have fully equipped kitchen and are quite spacious for family of 4. Staff was extremely nice and helpful, as well as the housekeeping. Sundeck is very nice, with wonderful views of the bay and good air, elevator is important since it is not something a regular apartment would have. Note that parking is limited and with a fee (35$/day), you can park in the street outside for free from 7pm to 10am if you are lucky/devoted or in another garage for 52$ per night. first night I was lucky to park outside, second day the staff located a free spot in their garage, and I returned my car after 2 nights instead of keeping it until the end of the trip to avoid payment.

1. the bathroom is not up to standard. it is too small, the sink is too high/far (even my wife struggled) and shower doesn't have the expected water pressure. it's not bad, I just wished it was better. 2. the walls/floors are very thin, and you hear every step on the floor above or conversations on the adjacent room/hallway. we did ask for a quiet room away from the street, which helped decrease the street noise. 3. Parking challange, see above, but no complaints to the property on this subject

Two washers and dryers for laundry were easily accessible to help. Our kitchen was large and well-equipped to help with cooking for our group with food allergies. Staff was excellent and helpful. Even the sofabed was large enough to fit two 5'6" people (myself and my 17yo son) comfortably! Plus, I didn't even realize the rooftop had great views of Alcatraz and the Golden Gate bridge until we were there! Only a block and a half from Ghirardelli square and just a few blocks from the wharf. We walked everywhere without a rental car until we were just about to leave.

The parking garage spaces were really tight - pretty much like everywhere in San Francisco. With an "upgraded" rental car (not by choice), we had a lot of difficulty fitting it in the tight space we were assigned.

We had a very spacious 1-bedroom suite. While we didn't use all parts of the kitchen, we did cook our breakfasts with ease. It was such a welcoming space after a VERY long flight. The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect! You can walk right down the hill and you are at Fisherman's Wharf. Or you go up 1 block and you are at Ghiradelli Square. There is even a cable car stop right outside the front door. I can't say enough about this hotel.

There really isn't anything that we didn't like. If we had to absolutely choose something, then the elevator could be updated. But it was so minor and I'm truly picking at straws here. We had a wonderful stay.

Nice apartment with separate bedroom and patio. Share rooftop patio was beautiful with great view of Bay and Alcatraz. Close to touristy part of town and short walk to North Beach / Chinatown. Easy bus access. Very convenient parking.

No indication when booking that parking is extra ($35/day).

Location is spectacular. The roof top is THE best place to watch the 4th of July fireworks. Tram stop right outside the front door. Staff were really lovely. Kitchen is fully equipped

Car parking spaces are not guaranteed and we didn’t get one until our 3rd and final night. It is possible to avoid paying $60 per day if you are committed to moving the car every couple of hours! As it is free from 9pm-10am

Perfect location, close to Fisher Wharf and cable car starting point. The most helpful staff I've ever met (special thanks to Richard for taking care of us). Super clean and perfectly equipped kitchen. Roof top with nice view on Golden Gate Bridge - the best option to check fog level in the bridge area before you go there. Parking lot in the building,.

A bit noisy street during the day.

Very clean and great facilities in the kitchen. Great location for fisherman’s wharf and public transport to other attractions The suites had themed nights like ice cream Wednesday and wine hour Friday, really fun while while on holiday. The staff were great with the kids and generally really helpful. Would definitely stay again.

Noise from the roads.

The condo hotel was high level and clean. The rooftop view was wonderful.

No restaurant in the Hotel, nor a pool or fitness center. The walls, ceilings and floors allowed for hearing other guests connected to our room on either side, and from above. This was more than just sliding of furniture, but actual conversations.

Excellent location, outstanding staff (they were so thoughtful), great big comfy bed, lots of hot water for shower, modern, very clean, great kitchen, lots of space to put everything... and a rooftop area to enjoy.
