they are renovating and we stayed on a floor under renovation. our room was already renovated and it was a pleasant surprise. the workers were working on Saturday during the day but we did not hear anything until we walked out into the hallway.

we accidentally left a pair of prescription glasses in our room. we called a few hours after checkout asking if they could check the room for our glasses. apparently no one in housekeeping could find the glasses. they were definitely in the room when we left and we know they had fallen off the bed side table into the floor. very frustrating to have prescription glasses “lost” when they were definitely still in our room. I recommend you double and triple check your room for everything before checkout. if it’s left behind, you likely will not see it again.

The room was perfect with a living area, kitchen, bedroom and bath. It's nice to have the toilet area separate from the bath area, too. The staff were friendly. The location was close to the main Lake Tahoe area with the casinos, shopping and eating places. In Winter, Heavenly skiing is just across the street.

Everything was great. I could see how the parking could be a drawback because it's all valet, but because we were allowed to park in the Heavenly ski parking lot for the day, it was fine. We just turned in the car overnight since there isn't overnight parking at the lot.

In winter, it's great for access to ski slopes. In summer, it's up a steep hill, so though you can walk into town in about 45 minutes to an hour, the walk back is a trek. The 'free' local transport will take 30 minutes to an hour to come get you, if you think that's the best choice. Valet parking worked well (tho have tip money in hand). The room we had was the upgraded one with king-size bed and smaller tub. TV had HBO channels. WiFi was good. AC was fine since opening a window on ground level seemed sketchy (for bear as well as burglars). Free washer/dryer in hall (level 2)

Remodel human engineering was sub-par. Nice fireplace (tho crammed in a corner, almost behind the TV); light sensor in the toilet room turned on bright light (whether you wanted it or not at night - travel with duct tape); TV had no way to project Netflix from your phone or tie in with an HDMI cable; fan/ac was VERY loud (tho on the plus side, we heard nothing else at night); bed, tho comfortable, was odd in that the sides sloped down.

Reminded me of a step back in time, Rooms Frank Sinatra would have stayed in. Cool 60s, 70s vibe My son and I went together. My only child is in remission Hodgkins Lymphomia stage 4. Chemo all year. My Riley is 25 and is on the Autism spectrum We love Tahoe! Sacramento Natives, My sons dad & I got married in Tahoe. Robert died 13 years ago. Employees are so kind, courteous & Professional! Our view of the mountains & trees: Priceless. Quiet & clean. Great air conditioning. Spatub though jets are not working Was huge! Very relaxing with bath beads. My son & I stayed in the 750 sq ft room. Riley got the "deluxe bed", I was in couch folding out to bed, Still fairly comfy! Son & I enjoyed the pool. Good vibe of people there. We played video games together. At 52 years old, Ms.Pac Man for me! Had Exquisite Grill delivered to our room. Yum bbq. Much needed 1 night escape. We will be back! 🌞

We came to South Lake Tahoe for the Heavenly Ski Resort and the hotel was just near the lifts! It was super convenient because parking spaces are limited there. Our room was nice, not new, but clean and big, the bed was comfy. We have no issues with noise from neighbors and woke up always relaxed. The parking is valet and is included in the price, but you can always tip for the service! The location is everything - not only because of the lifts but because it is 6 min drive to the Heavenly Village, restaurants, stores, etc. 5-minute walk from the hotel you can find Himmel House, which is a good German restaurant! The description says that there is no wi-fi, but actually, it is there! I will definitely come again to this place! I hope the price will stay the same! :))

The room was very comfortable, smallish bedroom for queen bed, but lots of storage and a fireplace, it was very cozy. There was a separate kitchen area with a large fridge/freezer and a microwave, with a small table and 2 chairs. The bathroom was very modern with double sinks, a separate toilet with its own door and a walk-in shower. There was also a separate sitting room that was very comfortable for lounging. The place was super clean too. The valet parking was very good service, we never had to wait more than a few minutes to get the car.

There is no restaurant, but Doordash delivered and it's very close to many eateries (10 minutes by car maximum). Checkout is 10am, not 11am as noted on the website, which is rather early and they charge for being over time.

I enjoyed my stay here and the hotel looks luxurious. The room was renovated - cozy and spacious. Unfortunately, I didn't have a nice view. I stayed here for a week and mainly worked from the hotel. There is a WiFi! I liked the facilities (pool, hot tub, rooftop, convenience store, and others).

I didn't like my room location, kind of in the basement. It felt dark. I also didn't like the valet parking, I find it inconvenient to be dependent on staff work hours to use your car. There were also different pictures of the spa (pool, hot tub) than the spa actually was but I think they updated it now. Its located outdoors and kind of in between the building.

Hallway and outside look of this hotel is very nice and fresh, room looked well maintained and cozy, there was not much uncomfortable smell (as it can be in other places), enough space and all basics are there. Night was calm and quite, nothing to complain about. Staff was quick and polite, prompt check-in and quick check-out over the phone. Didn't have a chance to use pool, cafe and other common areas, so no comments regarding it.

The room had several flying bugs (might need to install a net to the ventilation) and intention to take a shower become a quest. Don't expect great "mountain view", because windows are small, facing trees, other rooms and everything else, even from 8th floor. If you are not a big fan of valet parking, you can park on the street (during summer), however the road condition is terrible, zero light for several block in all the directions, and potential animals around.
