We were there to attend the Cowboy Poetry event in Historic Durango and to ride the Silverton/Durango Railroad. This motel was close to the historic district, about a 5-minute drive. lt was quiet and we could park right outside our door. Definitely no frills but everything was clean.

I really couldn't complain about anything. Like I said before, definitely no frills but it suited our needs for the short time we were there. I think the door to the unit could be a little better quality. It seemed sort of flimsy.

Family on Harleys. Loved the fact that our bikes were right outside the door/room and it was well lit throughout the night. Saw multiple police patrols come through the parking lot throughout the night. Very comfy and excellent bang for the buck. Centrally located in town and easy access to sites/restaurants/etc.

Nothing at all. It met my expectations for the price.

This a hard place to rate as it is definitely not the Ritz and it is still a work in progress, the location was great, within walking distance of downtown, beds were fine, staff was great.

I was unable to stay the first time I booked the room due to illness. The manager of the lodge worked with me so that I could stay the following week. Hats off to him for doing that! We stayed in a room with a small kitchen. That helped a lot with expenses, as we just bought groceries and cooked in the room a lot. The beds were comfortable. The place was clean. The room was spacious enough for my family to sit and enjoy visiting. I will stay here again. If I had anything bad to say is that it is next to the Hwy. Although within the room we could not hear the traffic. They have a very relaxed environment. They were not always available when we needed something, but when we could reach them, they were more than accommodating.

Just that I sometimes could not reach them by phone. However, they did call me back. And that sometimes when we needed something, we had to wait.

- Desperately in need of update - Bathtub was extremely slick and no non-slip mat was provided - Towels enough for two guests only (reservation was for three guests) - Live bugs crawling everywhere—bathroom, floor, nightstand and on us as we lay in bed - Beds are not on a true frame and rested against the wall (no headboard) - Office not opened at the time stated - No secondary lock on the door, only a knob lock. - No “Do Not Disturb” for the door. The cleaning staff or someone walked right into our room at 8:30am while we were still laying in bed watching tv. No knock. - Way overpriced. Not at all worth the nightly rate.

It was a cozy stay and definitely worth the value. Just minutes from downtown, clean, and the staff were very friendly. The location was pet friendly, though did charge an additional pet fee. Make sure to call and ask beforehand about the additional price. We would definitely stay here again.

The lightening in the room and lack of ventilation in the bathroom were really our only issues with the room. We did not have breakfast this time around, and I don't think it was even mentioned. Nice clean room. They waived my dog fee cause of the check in experience. There was a small playground onsite, which was fun since I had my son with us. Rooms seem to be very sound proof too...never heard my neighbors or anyone else with dogs.

My only complaint was that we had to wait almost 2 hours to check in. After talking to the staff though it seems that this was defiantly not the norm! Someone was filling in & decided to leave early without telling anyone. So in that case they handled it really well.

I like the "lodge" type facilities...personal and cozy! The room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Check-in was quick, and the staff was great!

The room was exceptionally clean and the bed was very comfortable!! And it's close enough to walk to downtown Durango!

The only issue we had was I paid extra for a large bath tub so my wife and could take a bath together and the hot water was completely gone after filling the bath up a quarter of the way, therefore made for a cool bath!! We were super excited for a hot one!!
