Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Silt - Rifle, an IHG Hotel

We love the room with whirlpool and balcony. The pool and hot tub looked very clean!

Every time I book through Booking.com when I stay here, the front desk gives me a HARD time. We stay at least once a year. The customer service I receive because I book 3rd party is not very hospitable. Even though my confirmation specifically described what room I booked, the first staff member told me to "prove it" and the other cut me off and told me it didn't matter it was 3rd party. I still got the room I rightfully booked and paid for but the hassle is so uncalled for. I also had a housekeeper walk in to my room before 11am. We didn't hear her because we were on the balcony but it felt like they were rushing us out.

It was very convenient because family lives in Silt. The Breakfast was very good and the people who worked there were very nice. It's easy to find and the river runes behind it.

The carpet in the room was badly stained and it's not hard to see. They should have shampooed the carpet many guests ago. The Apple Juice was so deluded it was just water with a hint of apple.

The breakfast was very disappointing. For those of us who have gluten and dairy free restrictions, the was hardly anything to eat. There were not even the options of hard boiled eggs or instant oatmeal. There are so many ways to provide gluten free food these days including gluten free bread or bagels. My daughter ended up with dry frosted flakes for breakfast.

As I mentioned above, the breakfast could have been much better, especially for the price of our stay.

Bed was very comfortable. The shower was very nice. Great location on and off the interstate. Breakfast was great.

Wish the desk chair and chair were more comfortable. Wish there were ice buckets so you could get ice along with plastic cups to use the ice. A little dated, the wallpaper was coming off the walls.k

We were made to feel welcome like we were family coming home. I have never felt so warmly about a hotel until we stayed here. From enjoying the sound of the river outside to the pool inside, we loved it! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home and they were so friendly! We will definitely return. Thank you so much for making our stay exceptional!!!

There is nothing that I didn't like! There is plenty of space between the hotel and other businesses for you to enjoy the environment. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The Ladies making breakfast are excellent and make sure you feel welcome and taken care of. I encourage you to stay here. I know we will be back!!!

Ashley was awesome after another local hotel gave away our reserved room! We drove from Minnesota & had this trip planned for months, so were not happy with the other hotel. Ashley got me & my sister a great room with a beautiful view!

comfy large room with excellent walk in new shower. Appreciated the Dove branded shower and bathroom toiletries. Hot tub was a welcome dip after a ski day. Stayed here after a ski day as anything near Vail is ridiculous price. Friendly front desk staff on arrival.

Nothing major at all

The breakfast was good! The staff served hot items rather than guest helping themselves...a nice safety precaution. The location was nice with the Colorado River behind. I even caught the sunrise one morning on the bridge. The Silt Island Park was near by with a nice trails along the river bank. The rooms were comfortable and felt clean. It was also good to have guest laundry facility.

The only thing I disliked was a few mold spots in the shower...up top on wall paper.

it was easy to get to and check in. very clean.

We had a handicapped room and as soon as we entered I could smell cigarette order. I opened the bathroom door and the smell was very strong as you tell someone had smoked there. I left the door open to dissipate the odor.

The wonderful patio area for breakfast or to just enjoy was very nice and welcoming. The housekeeping staff were very good, rooms clean and inviting. Check-in was easy and quick. Felt safe.

The wonderful patio breakfast was marred by having to use your room card every time you went back for anything and getting "its the rule" by overworked breakfast staff was painful at best.
