Candlewood Suites Windsor Locks, an IHG Hotel

This hotel was amazing! Very clean, nice staff and the beds were VERY comfortable! I love the suites it was very spacious and comfortable. This is by the airport and it wasn’t loud at all. The room has its own temp control that worked fast and well. Also, the shower was perfect and great water pressure. I am a Hilton member but needed a last minute room and this hotel is a place I will definitely stay at again!

Aiden Dunlavey was EXTREMELY helpful and went out of his way to ensure we would have 4 am shuttle service to the terminal. Due to a last minute flight change by our airline, our departure time required us to be at the airport prior to the operating hours of the hotel shuttle service. Aiden made sure that their shuttle would be waiting for us at 4 am and it was. He and his ENTIRE staff are excellent. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. I also like that a pool is available. Very nice property.

Great location however, if you are arriving at night, be aware that Route 75 (the road the hotel is situated on) is VERY dark and has no street lights. It is also difficult to locate the hotel because it is set far back from the road and there is only a small sign at the entrance. Room had freshly glued floor planks in the kitchen area from repair work that likely occurred shortly before we arrived. While standing on the floor in front of the kitchen sink, excess glue came out of the seams and got on the soles of my shoes.

Reception and transport staff cheerful, I formative, and prompt.

Outdated furnishings, entrance and reception area needs more character, welcoming. Floors at entrance muddy, not maintained.

The location was perfect. I did not eat at the hotel but did use and appreciate the snack shop. The bed was comfortable. I liked the kitchenette. The staff was very helpful. Thank you for free laundry machines.

Someone was smoking in the corridors. The air was too dry and the room too warm even with the heater off. My room was over the lobby with noisy sliding doors. Tile on the bathroom floor was not adhered to the floor.

Pool. Free laundry. Moning coffee. Gym. What more could you ask for? Then we got the most amazing suit it was perfect for our little family of 3 and we will be staying here again!!

Front desk staff wasn’t welcoming or friendly. Never at the desk, need to wait too long for service or general questions

Everything was exceptionally clean. The staff were all helpful and very nice. We were so impressed that we wanted to stay an extra night and even though they were fully booked, the front desk staff made it happen for us!

The Staff Was Attentive And Very Nice. The Property Was Very Clean And Well Put Together. And Even Though It’s By The Airport It Was Actually Very Calm And Peaceful.
