Homewood Suites Hartford/Windsor Locks

Staff is very attentive! Needed something fixed in the room, left & it was fixed plus they cleaned the room even though it wasn't the day we scheduled. When I asked to stay an extra night, they added it to my reservation without a problem!

Breakfast had a good selection. Everything could have been hotter though. Loved having the two room suite with two TVs and kitchenette. Was great that they allowed cats too. Everything was very clean and updated. We played some board games that they had in the lobby which was cute.

Because it's near the airport, people were leaving very early in the morning. There was a lot of door slamming and noise in the hallway early.

the girls at the front desk were amazing!!! my room wasn’t ready when I arrived at 3, I waited till about 3:45 and was falling asleep in the lobby and the manager stepped in and got me a different room so I could relax!! so much appreciated for that! they were extremely friendly, just a great staff you have there overall!!

Very convenient to the airport and great to have the shuttle for my friends to get to and from the airport easily. Room was clean and the fireplace was a nice bonus during these cold winter months. Great open space to sit and eat along with the kitchen area. Nice sized fridge and it included pots and pans in the dishwasher! It was very quiet and the beds as well as linens were super comfy.

At the higher nightly rate, I expected the logs for the fireplace to be included in the cost. I paid $8/log which I didn't see mentioned prior to our arrival. It would have been nice also to have unopened dishwasher/dish detergent available in the unit rather than having to go to the front desk in the bitter cold. Also the electric stove was a little weird. I'm a gas stove person myself so a quick set of instructions would have been nice with all the extra knobs and buttons lol

Room was clean and everything was pleasant.

Only thing I didn't like was the fireplace with no wood, why pay for room with fireplace and then have to pay for wood that was the only thing I didn't like.

Location, suite size, fireplace, full kitchen, comfortable beds, hot shower, parking right at room.

Shower pressure could have been better but not horrible.

The location is fantastic Having the space of a suite is awesome Everything was very clean We love having a working fireplace

Separate buildings made it inconvenient to go to breakfast. Had to drive to talk in person with staff. Big problem for elderly guests. I small bar of soap in bathroom and shower. Really, Hilton???? No bath mat.. I didn’t like the set up and will not stay here again in spite of the very courteous staff and cleanliness. Boxed breakfast was good, even though it was all packaged and cold.

The design of my room was very fancy! 😃 The snacks were good too!

The Homewood Suites always exceed my expectations. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are nice. The cleaning they do here is great. I'm always down to book a few nights to getaway. The location is great for activities and other stuff.
