Hampton Inn Hartford Airport

Loved location very accessible to highway and airport, view from room was great room faced back of property viewing trees skyline and lawn. grounds clean. Breakfast was good and fresh. variety. changing the way they do the eggs each day and the type of breakfast meat available is great. shuttle service from the airport. Drivers were pleasant and just very kind and helpful. Front desk staff were awesome. The shuttle service the following morning took me to the rental car company and waited to be sure all was ok until I got my car.

Room was very clean but had somewhat of a slight musty smell.

Even though "construction" was going on you wouldn't even know. Easy access to highway, close to food and shopping.

Upkeep in the pool area lacked a little bit. When we came down for breakfast at 940 (ends at 10) the worker was taking everything away and not bringing anything out. So we had toast, cereal and juice to choose from. Breakfast is till 10, that's when you should start to clean up, not 20 minutes before

The staff at the front counter were very helpful and nice. I had a logistics issue with a rental car early and needed a ride back to the hotel, then needing transport to the airport the next day. Their shuttle was able to pick me up at the airport rental, take me back to the hotel, then the next morning they got me to the airport. This saved me a day's rental fee. The location is great, about five minutes from the airport and easy to find.

This is more of a bummer than a complaint - we were notified a couple days before our stay that the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance for the week during our stay. That was unfortunate considering that having a pool and spa were big influences why we booked at that hotel. At time of notification, we could no longer change our booking with out a substantial financial penalty. Now, I understand that it happens and as I say, it was more a bummer than a deal breaker, so it would not negatively influence me from staying here again.

Real close to the airport. The ladies at the front desk were very pleasant & helpful.

The breakfast food wasn’t great & the woman who was refilling the buffet kept giving me & my *service* dog dirty looks. If she was curious she would/could have smiled. My dog had his vest on & is EXTREMELY well behaved too so there was no reason to look at us that way.

Everything. Did not stay there for breakfast. Our flight left way early in the morning. Beds were comfortable facilities were clean staff was friendly and informative. They offered to pick us up at the airport after we drop the Rental Car off and then brought us to the airport of the following morning.

I would’ve like to try the breakfast but wasn’t able to do to our flight leaving early in the morning

Did not utilize/see pool or gym, but the room and rest of facilities were in very good condition. They are in process of updating plumbing to shower and new carpeting. While our room will be part of the update, shower/ carpeting were in very good condition. Like a place that stays ahead of problems/issues.

Clean lobby, breakfast area and rooms. Friendly staff, good continental breakfast, good location to interstates. Has a good size pool and hot tub.

Pool floor is very slippery and dangerous for kids and even adults. In our room the cabinet for the fridge blocked part of the ac from blowing out so to keep the further side of the room cool it had to be turned colder making the side by the ac bed super cold. Pool hours were shortened 2 hours because of covid, but weren't posted anywhere and doesn't make since how the Pool closing 2 hours sooner helped the spread of covid? We had two upset young boys who (after a day of 11 hours in the car) were dressed and ready to swim at 8 because Pool sign said opened till 10 and didn't find out pool was closed until the door wouldn't unlock with the key.

It was clean, comfortable and cozy. All the accommodations were in excellent shape. The location was convenient to I 91 it was quiet and the staff was very nice and added benefit was the breakfast which was included in the price.

Nothing to say but positive things!

The hotel staff ALL excelled - what a wonderful environment they created! I felt safe, respected and, most important of, welcome. Thank you all so much.

I think it will be even better when the construction is done. Also, maybe add a shuttle to the Hartford Amtrak Station?

Older Hampton Inn property but perfectly maintained, and the simple climate control system is far preferable to the byzantine system typical in newer hotels. Friendly staff, perfect location a minute or two from the airport and I91. I also enjoyed the Bar-b-cue restaurant next door. Complimentary breakfast was far above average too.

I did not use facilities outside of my room and lobby, so can't fairly comment on those. Lobby corridor was a bit narrow for social distancing purposes, but I'm really nitpicking about that.
