SpringHill Suites Hartford Airport/Windsor Locks

I got the type of room I requested, and it was clean. The Lobby area was always clean and neat. Outside on the hotel ground was always clean and neat with plenty of parking. The Staff was always pleasant and helpful.

Breakfast was good, but two pan's of sausage croissant's I would have prefer one was bacon. I did not see regular milk. Maybe, I was always overlooking regular milk. I was told my room would be cleaned every other day, therefore my room was supposed to be cleaned once before checking out, and that did not happen.

I LIKED THE FRONT DESK ASSOCIATE HE MADE US FEEL VERY WELCOMED TO MYSELF AND MY CHILDEN VERY RESPECTFUL AND WELCOMING. ALSO I LIKED THE WAY THE SHOWER AND THE TOILET HAD 2 SEPARATE AREAS VERY CONVENIENT. I LIKED THE BEDS VERY COMFY ASWELL. LOVED THE SHOWER THE TEMPERATURE AND THE PRESSURE SPECTACULAR.

I DIDNT LIKE THE POOL HOURS CLOSED VERY EARLY. I DIDNT LIKE THAT THE COUCH HAD WHITE STAINS ON IT I STAYED IN ROOM 111. ALSO THE SHOWER LEAKED LOTS OF WATER ON THE FLOOR WHICH LEFT A BIG MESS AFTER ME AND MY KIDS FINISHED SHOWERING WHICH WAS ANNOYING TO HAVE TO CLEAN UP AFTER I JUST SHOWERED

The location was VERY GOOD, close to the Airport, close to the BIG E (which was what we stayed there for) Friendly Staff, A Very Clean kept place in this covid-Era.

Very nice and clean place but due to the fact they are so close to the Airport I heard EVERY plane fly by BEFORE I went to sleep, so that just means they Need thicker windows on each room of the hotel but yet the fly by's were NOT loud enough to wake me from my slumber. Decent hot breakfast but could have been better, but not good enough for the amount we had to pay for just one night.

I liked the room overall and the separation of restroom area and shower area. They were very accommodating on my request for the top floor and my room was ready prior to their check in time. That was awesome and very much appreciated!!

You couldn’t open my room door without doing a butt bump, the carpet was frayed and I told them 3 times during my stay it was super hard to get in or out of the room. Also, the phone cord to the phone, fell out of the phone when I went to call the front desk, I told them they needed a new cord, that also was not addressed nor fixed while there for 7 days. Also the breakfast was horrible, a couple choices for cereal, activia yogurt, not kid friendly food items at all. Prewrapped sandwiches, and 3 blueberry muffins. No fruit whatsoever, other than 2 bananas. If u got down there quick. 845, all items were gone. Really not happy with this area, being I am a manager in food service.

The room was spacious and clean and check-in, even though I arrived quite late, was seamless. The breakfast in the morning was varied and while I had to wait for a fresh pot of coffee I appreciated that the staff was on top of restocking everything.

Although not the fault of the hotel, I was woken up very early by some folks in the next room with lots of small kids and a TV with the volume turned way up.

Excellent Front desk staff. The first room I was given, the lights did not work. Front desk gas was quick to make new changes. She had an excellent demeanor and communication skills!

There should be a water fountain with reusable water bottle. I have large water carafes for gas to be able to access water without utilizing plastic.Although the staff offered me a plastic bottle filled with water, I will not drink out of those as we all need to make an effort to use less throwaway plastic bottles.

The room was spacious and the separate bath and shower was very helpful. Unfortunately, our flight was too early to have breakfast but having coffee was wonderful. Having a shuttle to and from the airport allowed us to drop our rental car and just use the shuttle in the AM which saved us a lot of time and stress.

The hotel was difficult to find because the lights were not on and due to the shortened days they did not come on until after we arrived.

We stay here every year (for the past 4-5 years). There's always a sports team or 5 staying at the same time. Wouldn't be so bad if the kids stayed together. All over the place, holding up the elevators, spilling food/beverages on the floor in/outside of the elevator. Just not being appropriately supervised.

the fitness room open 24 hours, the staff was friendly and helpful plus the breakfast area was always neat and clean. Easy parking, airport shuttle service was right on time during early morning.

A home made empty bottle presented as a gift was mistakenly tossed in the trash by the maid/room cleaning team. They did look for the bottle but the trash bin was already emptied that morning by the town.

Everything. The hotel was clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly. I would definitely stay again. It is also located on the main strip so it's near eating places and the airport is literally across the street

You can hear the planes flying over head on the 3rd floor. If you are in the hallway you can hear the residents conversation. Despite this I would still stay here again.
