Quality Inn & Suites Pensacola Bayview

I was surprised by how nice this motel was for the price. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and actually listened to my special booking request where most hotels just ignore it. The room was large, clean and comfortable.

The location is really bad if you do not have a car. I cycled in, and it's located in a part of town that is jammed in between an interstate and a vast, boring residential suburb. There are no good restaurants nearby, and it's not really a walkable location. Unfortunately the breakfast wasn't to my liking either. The only vegan option was oatmeal. All the hot breakfast stuff was meat and dairy, there wasn't even any bread! The place could really do with putting some bagels or at least toast and peanut butter.

Very friendly staff, especially front desk staff who allowed us to check in more than two hours early. The lady in charge of breakfast was very nice and personally served the food onto the plates (really liked that). She was very kind and welcoming. The breakfast food and beverage selection were excellent. Our room appeared to be clean and was very comfortable. The shower was very good. Very good parking and the location of the property was very good too. The property was conveniently located to the Naval Aviation Museum and to lots of great restaurants. Would definitely recommend this property for a one-night stay.

No elevator to the second floor but the staircase had a split level so a good rest break if you needed it. There was definitely an odor in the room which smelled like cat urine. I think the odor came from the rugs but not sure. The rug was a dark color so couldn't see stains (if any). The air-conditioner was turned up to a very cool temperature so very cold entering the room (possibly to help eliminate the odor).

very cool hotel! it had a bar/lounge on Friday and Saturday nights. it also has a game room area with pay per play pool table, foosball table, and pac man arcade game! It had a Good Hot Breakfast! EGGS, Sausage (patty and link) grits, biscuits gravy, waffle mix (original or red velvet) fruit, cereal, coffee, juice, milk, lemonade and water! and 2 different waffle makers, one regular and one for 4 Mini Waffles! I was Very Impressed with the breakfast! and the rooms were clean and comfortable beds.

wished it had an elevator but it’s just 2 floors so not a big deal.

Service was very good and all were helpful. Breakfast was great with many different items to choose from. The location was in a good area that made us feel safe and it was close enough to many different restaurants and shopping areas. Very convenient also being just off I-10.

There was someone on the second floor apparently smoking marijuana in the room (I could not tell which one). The odor was prevalent on the second floor. Being a LEO, this raised my awareness up a bit but not enough to complain. As long as they stayed to themselves, I was fine with that. Also, the bed was a little harder than what I am accustomed to but it did the trick after a long day of sight seeing.

The room itself had a lot of room to move around, there was a nice sliding door that lead to the gazebo and pool, and there were some nice arcade games and billiards that kept you occupied (you will need quarters). The breakfast was nice and they also had drinks on tap with cups next to the kitchen for guest anytime to keep everyone hydrated (cranberry limeade & water). Also, the staff was very friendly and very welcoming.

One thing I didn't like was the location. With it's entrance, you can only enter one way. If your driving the wrong way, you have to drive down a little bit and turn around to get to the entrance. Also, when you go out the sliding door to go to the pool, you sometimes get confused on which room is yours. If they could have an improvement, they need to put room numbers outside the sliding doors so nobody goes into the wrong room.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed was exceptionally supportive and restful. We asked for disability accommodations and they were optimal. Our room was near the lobby and the dining area where delicious breakfasts were served. Staff at the desk and at breakfast were unfailingly helpful and cordial. Parking was close and easily accessible.

Our rooms are very clean and smelled good everyday the beds were very comfortable. And we had hot breakfast every morning

The first time we came to check in there was a young man there who was young with blonde hair and a couple of piercings and he was a smart-ass disrespecting a 62-year-old woman.. it was just the way he talked at us not politely not respectfully at all.... I was not very happy about it he told us we had to come back 2 hours later our room wasn't ready all the other staff and cleaning people were very very good...

Very good, enjoyed having a good breakfast before we had to leave, saved us from having to stop to eat a breakfast on the road. Then on top of that there was a good gas station right across the street. How convenient for us, again didn’t have to stop for gas once we got on I-10.

The only thing was no elevator. We were on the second floor. We didn’t consider that when we made our reservations. But still everything went well!

- Check-in was easy. -Breakfast was great! The dining area was well organized with a nice variety of breakfast options. The dining/ kitchen staff was extremely attentive. -The room was clean. -The bed was comfortable.

-There are no elevators to the second floor. You have to use the stairs. -The rooms are a little dated.

The location was wonderful. My balcony view included a beautiful lake and sunset every day. On the 4th of July I was also able to get a great view of all of the fireworks nearby. The breakfast (which was FREE!) is hands down the best I've ever had at any hotel I've stayed at. Also because quite a few doors require the key card there's always a sense of safety that you feel in your room.
