Holiday Inn Pensacola - University Area, an IHG Hotel

Service and cleanness, friendly staff, especially Ms. Kena at the front desk. She was very sweet and friendly, also very knowledgeable that helped all of my concerns made me very comfortable during the stay with her smile. Cleaning staff was really awesome, they are amazing!! I love the small details the cleaning staff did to my room. Very thorough job.

No complimentary breakfast. I wasn’t informed upon arrival. But the breakfast was nice and fresh. The staff was friendly and tables are always clean, very welcoming.

The atmosphere was relaxing and the hotel smelled nice. The ac was nice and cold, the handle bar in the shower, and the pads on the bed were pretty comfortable but I would like it to be a bit thicker for longer stays.

Sometimes our room was not cleaned by 3pm or we had to ask for it to be done. You need door hangs that stay on the door and say please clean or dnd if this continues. The directions to the hotel were wrong. The pool chairs could be replaced and cleaned as well as the hot tub. The hot tub had a bunch of sand at the bottom.

Only here for a night, but definitely recommend. Bed was very comfortable and loved the pillow options. Very clean bathroom.

Everything was very nice and comfortable. The staff did everything to help us when we asked. Great place to stay for the price. One of the best taco places is a 4 min walk which was great!

My biggest complaint about the property would be the floors by the elevator were always sticky. Several of the floors we stopped on had the same issue. Another issue was the water in the tub was slow to drain. While taking a shower the tub would fill up water which was annoying.

Bar tender snd breakfast host very friendly Although I can't remember the bartender's name he gave us great restaurant. Suggestions also the beds were extremely comfortable.

The only thing that I would say was missing. When you first arrive in the foyer some type of. Classical or jazz music it would definitely help the ambience. Standing in line waiting to check in in silence it was just kind of awkward but everything else was clean and lovely

The hotel was nice. The hotel staff was friendly, rooms were spacious and clean, and location was good.

We were disappointed that the pool was closed during our stay. We were not given a reason why. I would have booked a different hotel if I had known this since it was the middle of summer and due to my health it is difficult for me to go to the beach for swimming.

The restaurant was great the first night, but the last night I got a burger at the restaurant and it was a hockey puck. Told the bar tender on duty, she offered to cook another one but my family was already done eating, it should have been removed from my bill.

The freshness of the hotel as well as the location. The Breakfast was good too. Customer service was great. Sondra checked me in with great suggestions on nearby restaurants and the hostess at breakfast. Can't remember her name but her birthday is June 17 from Jersey! Beautiful personality. 20 minutes from the Beach. On a strip with plenty of shopping available.

The room was comfy, roomy, and clean, efficiently organized to maximize space.

The location was on the I-10 on ramp, so it was a little challenging to exit the property, and there was no pass-through to the gas station next door, so I had to get on the main road, make a U-turn and drive to the next intersection for gas.
