Best Western Plus Oceanside Inn

The location very close to the beach was excellent. The hotel renovation was very clean modern bright and colorful-with a color scheme of aqua and silver. The room was in very good order,as everything in the room was brand new-we liked the large TV as well. There were numerous bars and restaurants close to the hotel, and the local buses stopped right outside the hotel. The free breakfast was varied each day-we particularly enjoyed the days when they served fresh melon and bacon. The staff at front desk were pleasant, friendly,patient and always helpful!

We enjoyed the daily free breakfast downstairs-but the room was quite narrow-so it made it a bit of a crush when the hotel was full. The hotel renovation was not quite finished-so we heard a bit of hammering at times-when we were trying to watch the TV-but overall they produced a very good end result!

The location was great. Super close to a really nice beach and within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. The breakfast every morning was really good. Beds were super comfortable and rooms were clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend to others.

Only one elevator which was down one day so we had to take the stairs. Not a huge deal for us but could be for some.

I loved the size of the room and it’s amenities. The only problem I had was that my room was next to the elevator that goes to the pool so it was constantly being used even late at night which was a bummer for us, especially my husband who is a light sleeper (and it didn’t help that we were there to celebrate his birthday). Since it was our first time there and the fact that we booked with enough time I would’ve loved to have gotten a better room. But apart from that I enjoyed the hotel and hope one day to return there. Also the staff and front desk were very pleasant and accommodating which helped To make my stay quite enjoyable.

Rooms were spacious clean - bed was really comfortable we had the king suite lower floor outside pool area - reception staff were very friendly and helpful couldn't rate them high enough . Breakfast was ample and good variety - good location as we were going on a cruise the next day so only 5 min drive and 15 kms from airport

beautiful clean property including a pool area and sunning area above. Located seconds from the beach, few minute walk/drive to the strip of restaurants, bar and shopping. About a 15 minute drive right over the bridge to downtown.

There was many people waiting in the lobby all morning and afternoon waiting for their ride to the cruise ships. Caused a lot of crowding with there luggage .

There is no ocean view room. Breakfast is limited due to COVID issue Sun light on swimming pool is limited due to building in front of.

The room was extremely comfy and for my personal tastes, perfectly decorated. A private balcony where I could listen to birds and watch iguanas with my morning coffee and evening wine was an unexpected treat. As easy a walk as you want to get to the Ocean making it extremely convenient to come and go as you please.

I was very pleased over all.

The price was very reasonable compared to other hotels in the beach area. Very good breakfast and nice helpful staff. Because of covid, there were no restaurants close to the hotel open after 10pm. But there were good options for delivery service, very good and not expensive. Easy walk to the beach, the hotel has beach chairs for use on the beach.

The bar and minimal food service is only open from 1pm-8pm because of covid. Make sure you tell the front desk that you want daily cleaning service or they will not do it. If you have a car to park at the hotel, it is $20 dollars per day. I tried to get by without a car and spent roughly $20 per day on a taxi, Yellow Cab has good service. We tried the bus but it is very bad, does not keep to schedule and we were threatened on the bus by some guys who looked like they were on drugs, we got off very quickly. Without a car it is very troublesome and not easy, but you must pay the high prices of parking and gas.

Liked the pool and vegetation around it and the resident iguanas and the fountains. Liked the balcony in the room. Also the food at the bar . Liked the retro feel of the building design.

We were there during the NHL beach festival and the walk to the beach was too long. They should have left a path to the beach along the property line near B Ocean.

The hotel was in prime location of beach and all eateries

1)The bedsheet of one queen was having hair of someone...so basically it was not cleaned.2)plus our checkout was 12pm whereas the housekeeping was trying to open the room at 11am and 1 guy also opened it...later he saw my kid and went away...but asked a lady to check my check out time.The bathtub was very slippery
