Holiday Inn Express Cruise Airport, an IHG Hotel

Friendly female driver picked us up from the airport, great location, delicious breakfast, we enjoyed the pool, clean, comfortable room.

The front desk wouldn't wait 5 minutes for us to come down to get the shuttle to the airport. It's either be early or wait for the next shuttle an hour later.

Beds were comfortable, room was clean and attractive.

Front desk staff were stressed and rude. We arrived from our cruise at 9:15 am, had to sit in an uncomfortable cold lobby until 3:00 pm to check in. Good customer service would have at least offered a snack or beverage. You can't tell me that some rooms couldn't have been ready earlier. I would have paid extra to be able to get dry from the rain and warm by checking in early.

The location was good. Easy drive to Fort Lauderdale’s Las Olas Blv with all the nice little restaurants and beach. Couple of restaurants nearby accesible by walking. The pool was nice. Bed comfortable. Room clean.

It was clean but the tub in particular could have used a better scrub since it felt a bit dirty in the part one stands. Few TV channels. Had to request an extra towel and pillow even though they knew in advance we were a family of 3. Then the housekeeping person the next day took away 1 towel and left us with 2 again. Had to request the 3rd towel a second hand. The breakfast was nice and enough, but the quality and/or flavor of the scrambled eggs and sausage could see an improvement. The sausage in particular was bad (writing this more as feedback than criticism).

The room was very spacious and comfortable, the bathroom as well, it had a mini fridge and blower. The beds where very confy, as well the pillows. The breakfast was OK, they have amazing bagels and a cute pancake machine. they offer some fruits, but I personally missed some bacon to go with it.

I think the check out is pretty early at 11am.

I like the close proximity to many shopping area. I like the breakfast and the room was very clean. The King bed seemed supersized. My overall stay was excellent

For approximately one day I did not like the septic scent in the parking lot. Otherwise there was no problem.

Staff at reception very friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean and a nice breakfast provided, small clean pool area. Very good location for shops restaurants etc and also Cruise Port.

Room was very good size but in need of upgrading, musty smell on first entering which may be coming from carpets as bed linen towels etc were very clean. Room was clean too just old furnishings.

As the hotel’s name suggests, it’s well located to get to and from the airport and the seaport. That’s just what I needed.

The check-in was particularly slow, and the rate was a bit high in comparison to similar hotels.

The breakfast was excellent - much better than in many other hotels.
