Hollywood Beach Suites and Hotel

The proximity to the ocean and the channel. Plenty of restaurants on walking distance and best location. Parking is not free but $15 a day is worth it…please of mind. The staff is wonderful and always available. Pamela, Lynn, Melanie, Luz and Andrew (beverage mgr.) were all wonderful. Best in town of Hollywood, Florida. Definitely a place to go back!!!

The soaps

The patio areas between the units were nice. Nice landscaping and seating area. Beach equipment provided, very nice for guests arriving by plane. The number of stairs and ramps would be a problem for some guests. Posted signs inform the guests that staff will help with any luggage transporting.

Some type of hooks for hanging towels in the bathroom. A quiet time hours needs to be posted and enforced. Large groups using the patio area outside our unit were very loud. Talking until midnight nightly. Impossible to sleep. We booked through Booking.com instead of directly with the hotel. Upon arrival we had about a 45 minute wait while the hotel contacting booking for our reservation. We had a confirmation number but this was not recognized. A lengthy direct contact was required.

Closeness to the beach. Large room. The price was cheap considering it's so close to the beach. Comfy bed. Outdoor seating outside of the room. Could check out floats and chairs for the beach.

The shower was incredibly small. I had to leave the shower curtain open to be able to not feel it against my skin when I showered. There were no curtains, just blinds. It was bright in the room. I like to sleep in a cave and this was not happening in this room. Bring your own shampoo, conditioner, and soap. There were small bottles and 1 was empty. I realized too late in the night to ask for another. Had to pay $16 for parking.

Location is perfect right between the beach and the intercoastal which is a perfect setting for outdoor seating at great restaurants. The food is great, the location is literally steps away and the sunsets are beautiful from the intercoastal waterways. The rooms at Hollywood Beach Suites are clean; most located ground level with your own entrance, beach towels, room towels are easily retrieved as often as you need from the office. The staff is kind, discreet but helpful as is the general mgr Pam! Covid protocols are in place. Sling chairs, sand toys and a charcoal grill are available for your use. If you forgot something, ask, they probably have it. This was our second stay and we will return, just not during spring break.

We had a nice suite K1 with a semi private patio which we enjoyed in the evening for a nightcap. The proximity of the storage and laundry area was a little distracting, but not invasive. We mentioned the 8 am (must have been starting time) noise level our first morning and it was much quieter moving forward.

Clean. Close to the beach and boardwalk.

I felt the could have provided a coffee maker And coffee for our room. I was told I could go to The local store and buy it.

The grounds of the property ..the fantastic large suite..loved eating at the taco shack on the property..great food and atmosphere..staff very accommodating!..will be back for sure!

Would like a pool..I thought..but really didn't miss that at all.. and the only other thing I would suggest Is the $500 cash deposit to be paid in full at checkin time.. I believe that's a little steep!

Location (walkable from stores and the beach), beds were SO comfortable, we had a porch with a gorgeous view of the ocean and the intercostal, and the free beach towels to borrow! The staff was super nice! And there was a cat who lived at the hotel that was so cute.

Our room was freezing cold and we couldn't make it any warmer. We told the staff and they told us that there wasn't anything they could do.

be careful with the shower slippery room service terrible.they where supposed to clean my room every three days never happened dont eat at the taco place the worst drinks are bad and food worst dirty tables and bad service and check your bill this hotel good for two nights

I loved the location.

The room was huge and had a lot of space and the staff were really nice and helpful. There is a really really good taco shack and bar attached to the hotel, which was a huge bonus - highly recommend! The room was clean and there were 2 air conditioning units in the room so it was enough to keep the whole space cool. We liked that our room was tucked away as well. And the cat we loved the cat.

We got there around 11 and they don’t hold bags before check in at 3, so we had to walk around the with our bags for hours before check in. It was Covid protocols but I wished we knew that prior to booking. The only other thing was that the bunk bed was extremely squeaky so any time you moved you’d wake up. I also wished there were more blankets. Lastly, it was a girls trip and we just wished there was a full body mirror in the room. The dresser being a mirror was fun and helpful though!
