Hyatt Place Miami Airport-West/Doral

The staff were very friendly, accommodating, and personable. The hotel was clean and in an excellent location. Within walking distance to a lot of restaurants. Safe neighborhood, could go on a walk around the area any time of the day or night without fear of something happening. Pets are welcome and treated kindly.

The breakfast was less than desirable. My son tried it the first morning and never went back during the remainder of our stay. Most mornings, I would get some orange juice and toast. There also isn't much seating for breakfast goers. Several people had to share a table with a stranger, stand, or take their breakfast back to their rooms. There was a very foul odor in the back by the area they have for pets. It smelled like there was something dead out there. It was there from day one to the last day. We were there for 4 days. I never did get my room cleaned during my stay.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Particularly Islah who checked us in(apologies is name misspelled). Near to some restaurants so could dine and buy some food. Otherwise quiet and no disturbance

It was my first trip to USA so expectations were different. The services in hotel might be standard to USA rather than negative to this hotel. I went to another hotel later and had same experience. So might not be just this hotel. No porter for baggage. Breakfast is bit different to what we are used to in UK and Europe. Not like a full hot breakfast. Hyatt can upgrade some of the room fittings like tap pipe , door lock of toilet etc. Add extra communal toilets on each floor. Nothing drastically bad. Just own expectation.

Amazing friendly staff Very clean hallways lobby and room, and the amenities were as promised. Even had toothpaste on hand when asked at the front desk. Free breakfast was good and as promised

Walls are very thin, we could hear everything from people talking late at night, the staff vacuuming, and even someone doing laundry. Granted we were right next to the laundry room unfortunately but the tumbling kept us up. As well someone dumping ice repeatedly throughout late hours

The location of the hotel is very convenient. Breakfast was excellent. The room was very comfortable.

I had a situation at the second day of stay. When I came back to my room at 330pm the door was opened and the door of the closet was opened too. I informed the front desk about this security situation. None of my belongings were missing, but I do not understand how something like that can happen. Please be more careful when you clean the rooms. Security is very important.

I was positively surprised at this stay. Hotel staff were very attentive and helpful. I even want to record how the receptionist named Ana was amazing. I never failed to be served, I always had all requests promptly answered. The breakfast is very good and I recommend it to anyone who wants to start the day well fed and enjoy Miami. The room size is great! Large bathroom, large bed, and a very spacious room to work or enjoy a TV. It is definitely a great hotel to stay, especially in relation to the cost-benefit ratio.

The only thing that could improve (but impossible for obvious reasons) is the hotel's distance to downtown Miami. This hotel is close to the airport, but at the same time, it ends up being far from major attractions such as Miami Beach, Downtown, etc. Nothing an Uber or rental car won't do. But this point is worth emphasizing.

The front desk staff especially Russel Morgan were hospitable and efficient. He never made you feel like you were bothering him. I liked the ability to have parcels delivered and distributed without fuss. The location was great - Fresh farm and WifiBurger were great place to find good food at. The ability to get free water daily and breakfast. I loved the Christmas tree and accessories

The room service was meant to be alternate days however the housekeeper just didnt seem to get it right. I would have loved to have had an airport shuttle. The bathroom was too small due ot the positioning of the door. I nearly fell backward into the shower when opening the door.

Breakfast was pretty good, and even on days where there were a ton of people in line, the hotel kept up with the food demand. We like the hotel's proximity to many different restaurants.

There is only one very thin "blanket" for the sofa bed, which was more like a thick sheet. We had to ask guest services for another, which they gave us no problem. Also the pool could've been cleaner.

I loved how the staff went above and beyond. The manager was amazingly helpful to ensure we had everything in the room. The staff from cook to housekeeping to front desk just everyone went out of their way to ensure we had everything and always asked if we needed or wanted anything. So friendly, great food, close to anywhere we wanted to go including Miami!!

I didn't like even though super easy that I could change the dates I went that they didn't have it "in their system" she had to look under the 3rd party system to see my reservations. So we were unable to get the handicap accessible room we wanted due to hotel being full. We enjoyed the room any ways it just would have been a bit easier with wider entry into the bathroom.

Was not crowded and peacefull feeling thru out the stay

Every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly! When we requested extra towels, the night staff delivered them promptly. The halls were monitored in the evening, and it felt very safe. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again.

The pool was closed for repair. This was disappointing since I specifically chose the property over other ones because of the heated, year-round swimming pool with extended hours. I had planned to keep kids entertained and happy with some swim time. Call and make sure it is open if this is important to you. Breakfast had basic offerings. I have had much better at other Hyatt Place hotels.
