Residence Inn by Marriott Miami Airport West/Doral

The front desk, shuttle driver, and housekeeping, everyone was positive and helpful. Kitchen appliances were high quality for this price range, same for the in-house breakfast. They have luggage carts. Airport shuttle takes 20-30 minutes one-way depending on traffic.

If you don't bring a car, you'll need to rideshare to do anything locally, including dining. You're close to the swamp here and right next to the US Southern Command and some commercial warehouses. The only nearby food is a 10-minute walk to a Wawa. The hotel breakfast runs only till 9am and there's very limited flexibility on late checkouts. Make sure you check the airport shuttle timings and call ahead for scheduling. The sofa beds are what you'd expect from sofa beds (stained and uncomfortable).

We were able to check in early at No additional cost. (All hotels do not provide this exceptional service). The room that was available was an accessible room. That was no problem given we were desperate to check in early, and the room was large and roomy. We were able to order food for delivery (many choices). Front desk clerks were very helpful with providing a list of local restaurants and transportation service to the port.

There were no restaurants in walking distance. The location was not close to places to buy toiletries or things left at home. There was a Wa Wa store in walking distance, but I was not familiar with this store brand. These are only small dislikes for this location/hotel. If you are resourceful, like we were, this is an excellent choice for pre- or post-night stays for a cruise.

Wonderful place! Best part was the staff. Absolutely accommodating and super friendly. The rooms and beds were comfortable. Place was clean. Fresh towels any time we asked. Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at. We've never stayed at a better place in the Miami area. Everything was conveniently located and easy to drive to.

the location was perfect, close to many places like dolphin mall, the airport, lots of restaurants,best buy,Walmart, target and gas stations. the room was pretty big. It was exactly like on the picture, it even had pot and pans and a dishwasher. the kitchen was fully equipped. a pretty spacious bathroom. overall a perfect place to stay.

The place was pretty clean but we found hair on the bathroom walls in the shower. besides that, the air conditioner and living room lights used to stop working between 12am and 5am. our room wasn’t hot but it was too warm at night for our liking.

We were visiting the University of Miami, one of the many colleges where I granddaughter was accepted. This was our first stay at the hotel. The staff was extremely AWESOME! I mean splayed the card from the sweet lady working the front desk. I watched her greet every guest and held short conversations with returning guest! Everyone loved her! She is short with reddish color hair. I regret misplacing her card!! She was absolutely a delight to communicate with. All staff were excellent! I am already planning a return trip!!

clean and comfortable. we enjoyed the breakfast and the kitchen was a plus.

The pull-out couch needs replacing. The cushions were falling into the couch no more foam otherwise very comfortable place to stay. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were very clean.

Breakfast was very good. Room was very comfortable. Kitchen was very well equiped. Overall attention was very good. Doral is always an excellent location for our family vacations.

Some smell (turkey sausages) in the elevators in the mornings (not all of them).

The hotel has a good location, the people at the reception are very friendly, the cleaning staff are very friendly and helpful and offer very good service at breakfast, the food is very varied and the place is very clean. I would choose them again.

Place is safe clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful a special for the lady who is in charge she was very kind with us

Breakfast and hot water to make a cup of tea which provided at the reception but the water were always cold 💔

Didn’t have much vegetarian options for breakfast , everyday they had pork sausage , no plain egg and cheese sandwiches or burritos…. Front desk staff could have been more pleasant. Had to make several requests before I got the additional pillows I had asked for upon making reservation…
