Staybridge Suites Miami Doral Area, an IHG Hotel

Initially, we selected this hotel because of the perk of being able to leave our car for the week while we cruised, without incurring an additional fee, but found many additional things we enjoyed at the hotel. Breakfast was wonderful with a nice variety of fruit and several hot items. I especially liked that I could toast my bagel to the level I preferred. The room size was great and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, the staff were very pleasant but Daniel (front desk) was exceptional. He efficiently handled a minor issue involving leaving our car there while we cruised, and helped with getting a Lyft to the port that first morning, when I inadvertently entered the incorrect address. He always had a smile on his face, and spoke to everyone else checking in with courtesy. He is a real asset to the hotel!

We could not find a place to hang the wet towels after a shower. Maybe provide a towel rack (attached or free standing)? Other than that, we enjoyed everything about the stay.

The rooms are nice, large enough to be comfortable for longer stay like we had (11 days) as long as you have the separate bedroom.

Still no breakfast buffet (hotels in Florida and Georgia did have breakfast and even though Florida is suppose to be open with no restrictions they still had no breakfast buffet, no evening social, had to ask for cup of coffee from front desk person only in the AM & having to track down toilet paper and stuff is a pain. Should have housekeeping more than once a week which really was on our 9th day there before they came. Honestly when you think of the lack of all amenities (not even the pool was open) the price was honestly higher than it should be.

we absolutely loved the suite, the kitchen and the materials that came with it. one of the best suites we’ve stayed at so far. washer and dryer were excellent too! the breakfast was consistent every day of our stay. the cleaning service was very helpful with towels and other amenities that we needed without us knowing. we had a blast there and would go reserve the same spot in Doral, Miami

if I could say there was only one thing. kids were too loud next door but that didn’t trouble our stay. 10 stars for us

One staff member came to the dining area and she was saying “ some people will try and to take all the food, and other guests will not be able to get any that’s why I came to watching”. Some guests with kids were really noisy, and kids were knocking at my door and runaway.

It’s behind another Hotel building so it difficult to find

Convenience, Skyline View, comfortable bed

The drawer handles were broken, there were mystery stains in the room located on the floor and on seating furniture. Basketball goal was bent. The laundry facility was not as tidy, one out of two washer and dryers were out of commission. There were no wipes in the fitness facility to wipe machines.

Good location, good breakfast and the afternoon snack from monday to wednesday was very good.

They don’t clean the room everyday because of Covid I guess, and I had to ask a lot of times for towels and toilet paper.

Check in was easy and staff were very friendly. Room was clean, however, could use with a little updating. Breakfast was fantastic. I was very happy with our stay!

When we booked through the third party booking site, it said that transportation to cruise port would be available. When we checked back, closer to our vacation, transportation to cruise port was not available. I am assuming it was due to Covid. We ended up calling a Lyft to get to the cruise port.

The location was perfect. I used to work for a Miller's Ale House when I lived in Fort Myers so that was nice to grab dinner after a long day of travel. The location was not far from the airport or the cruise port. The continental breakfast was great!! Many options and also you had my favorite coffee creamer!!!! I was amazed to see that!!
