Urbanica Fifth

I booked this hotel at the very last minute after being dissatisfied with another hotel and the staff and management were super accommodating and did everything to make me feel comfortable. The rooms are clean, the views from the front balcony rooms and rooftop are amazing! I have attached pictures. The place has a nice, calming, chilled vibe that is so peaceful. The location is perfect- just a short 10 minute walk to the beach and central to some amazing places to eat. I also loved the beach umbrellas and loungers option.

Everything was amazing but if I had to pick one thing it would just be to have a complimentary tea option in the room and not just coffee as I don’t drink coffee. However there is a really nice bistro style restaurant downstairs that serves a really good option of teas and breakfast.

i love the size of our room and how it was updated and very clean. the extra amenities like the bikes & towels & free beach chairs on the beach was absolutely amazing! the staff was very nice & welcoming as well as helpful.

the balcony’s are smaller then expected, not even enough room to put a chair out there & sit.

The location was great, 5 minutes away from the beach, 10 minutes from major restaurants and bakeries, 15 minutes from Lincoln Road, very easy to get by car/bus from the airport. Convenient if yet pricy parking inside the hotel, but very well operated. Rooms were clean and new, the hotel had a nice homey atmosphere to it and the staff was GREAT. We loved it

We absolutely loved this hotel! Starting from the lcoation: to me, SOFI area is the best of Miami Beach. We stayed in a standard king size room, the space was enough, enough wadrobe space and with small terrace. The bathroom was OK and had spacious shower with a pleasant view on the skyline. The room was perfectly cleaned everyday with daily replenishment of complimentary toiletries. The hotel has a nice restaurant at ground floor, where breakfast is served daily starting 8 am. Everything was very good, and we also tried it for lunch and dinner, being surprised for the amazing Pizza (I am italian :)). All staff of the hotel, from the garage, to restaruant and lobby is very kind and friendly! In addition, the hotel provides access to Esteban's Place on the beach at 4th street with complimentart sunbeds. This service was super appreciated, the sea in March is amazing and we enjoyed 2/3 hours at the beach every day. We also used byciles service and the rooftop pool, which is accessible also after checkout for a rest before the departure. Thank you, I believe that feeling at home in a hotel is very important for the outcome of an holiday and this was definitly the case. Will come back for sure!

For a longer stay (>10 days) i would book a bigger room than king size. but it was ok for 8 days. I woudl have appreciated to have a kettle in room to make tea or american coffee early in the morning (coffee machine is provided)

our favorite thing about this hotel are a few things 1) the restaurant downstairs 10/10 amazing! from the staff, to the look and the best the food ! so delicious we kept going back! 2) the staff at the front desk and the cleaning crew, nicest people we’ve ever had at any hotel! thank you for the sweet customer service! 3) the rooftop was so nice and not over crowded which we loved ! Nice view from up there 4) everyday we had room services that made sure we were good with towels and soaps etc. So nice ! 5) little balcony outside the room but was still nice to be able to step outside for a bit

only thing we wish were bigger rooms(no matter the type of room). i wouldn’t suggest this for two ppl. we were offered to purchase for extra a king room but for our budget we couldn’t afford it. thank you for offering! the rooms do need a fresh paint job , a lot of black marks from probably luggage’s bc of the size of the room and the shower tends to spill water from under the door. our door was also broken the sheets had a few stains but i think that’s just grease or stains that can’t be removed no matter how many times you wash it.

The staff was very friendly at the front desk, everyone was pleasant. Checkin & out was fast / easy. The girl (can't recall her name-dark long hair) she suggested places to go out at night and for dinner. Overall, very sweet & Helpful staff. They had complimentary bikes with the stay but they are first come first serve, the pool on the rooftop had a great view. Also, there was a restaurant which we didn't use but it was a nice option just in case. There was valet parking on site (for a cost) but it was worth it (secured/easy access) & the guys who worked that area were super helpful too. There were breakfast spots, stores, beaches, shops all close by and within walking distance. I definitely recommend it just based off service, amenities, price.

Everything was great except in the room, there were some hairs on one of the small towels and a piece on the comforter that weren't ours. In addition, on one side of the comforter & one pillow it looked like makeup or something. We didn't complain as we could manage somehow. Also, the little trash can in the bathroom looked to still have trash in it from the previous room guest. And sadly there wasn't anywhere to put anything in the shower, it had to go on the floor and just the one chair in the room for sitting was little annoying but it was one of the smaller rooms so maybe a larger room would of had those things. We made due. Nothing to scuff over as everything else was clean, convenient, ect

The rooms were spacious, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located within walking distance from Ocean Drive and the beach. Parking, while a bit pricey (but expected for this area), is available on-site, and IMHO worth the convenience. It is also close to a South Beach Trolley stop, which is a convenient free city service to get around the area. Also, if you are going on a cruise from the Port of Miami, this hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes away by car. For those that plan to go to the beach, the hotel does provide guests the use of two beach chairs for free, via a 3rd party vendor. For an additional cost, you have the option to rent an umbrella, additional chairs, etc.

The rooftop pool area is MUCH smaller than what I expected it to be from the photos, so that was disappointing. Also, we thought there would be some type of breakfast option available at the restaurant in the lobby, but it appears this is no longer being offered (despite a sign advertising breakfast). Depending on your preferences, expect to walk 10-15 minutes for a restaurant offering full breakfast options. This hotel is technically within walking distance of the beach (10-15 minutes), but if you are looking to spend a lot of time on the beach, you may find it a bit far. Unfortunately, the hotel does not provide transportation to the beach (I read in an older review that this may have been a service provided in the past).

We loved our stay at Urbanica Fifth! The staff was super friendly, the room was clean and beautiful (even the ceilings were good, not as we thought on the photos) and the view from our room was amazing. They have sand towels and sunbeds at the beach included as well and(umbrella costs 15$ per day) and the location was very well. Everything you need you can reach by foot and also it feels (as two womans) safe at night because it's only big streets. We loved it so much, we stayed one day longer then originally planned. For that the staff was also very supportive. Overall, thanks to all the nice staff and our awesome stay.

Nothing really. The pool on the deck may could be a little bit cleaner, but we think that's because of the pool floor/wall color inside.

great location, great restaurant downstairs (very expensive though) and great pool. Lucas the staff member there was excellent at checkout at 5am in the morn and did whatever he could to help - and didn’t expect a tip like every other American encountered on our 5 week USA holiday

the floors were very dirty in the room. you couldnt walk around bare foot inside the room as your feet would turn black. it makes you feel a little uncomfortable and dirty. would have expected more from a pricey stay.
