Holiday Inn Express & Suites - Nearest Universal Orlando, an IHG Hotel

1. Location of the hotel and proximity to activities. 2. Breakfast was included. 3. Access to computer and printer.

1. Room only had a mini cooler. It wasn’t working when we first arrived. It cooled beverages but didn’t get them cold. 2. No ice machine on our floor. 3. Rooms were not cleaned daily. We had to ask for someone to come. 4. Fresh Towels were not given daily unless requested. 5. When we requested towels they asked if we could come down to the front desk to pick them up instead of bringing them. 6. Only one elevator was working and it was very slow.

The location to Universal studio is awesome, around 5 mints drive and even can walk to there (20-30 mins depends) The size of the room is great, there's microwave and mini refrigerator. The bathroom is good size, the toiletries is DOVE (shampoo/conditioner/liquid soap) Receptionist (Nelly), is very nice and friendly. Breakfast has quite a lot choices, biscuit, turkey meat, pork sausage, warm omelet, yogurt, fruits(banana, orange) coffee, tea some sweets too.

The ice machine located at 8th floor = awful, it was really horrible to ''hear it'' inside our won room which is not to close to the machine. super loud ice making all night long!! The a/c in the room is like a mini tank, every time the machine restart is like a battle. We got the adjoining Rooms with other stranger next door, it was distasteful to hear other people's loud party noise. Poor sound proof overall.

The room needed upgrading. Other than that, everything was excellent! The bed was SUPER comfortable! (what brand was it??) Everything was clean. The breakfast, wow! Lots of fresh food like scrambled eggs, bacon, sausages, biscuits and gravy, cereals, yogurts, muffins, and a 1 minute, push a button, make it yourself pancake maker! The kitchen staff was constantly keeping the food piled high and fresh! Did I mention breakfast was free? PLENTY of seating available. The front desk personnel were SUPER friendly! The price we paid for our room was extremely low. Free parking too. Great location.

Put in a modern bathroom, and a quieter a/c unit. That's about it.

The location was convenient the price was great. It is an older hotel but very clean. No tub. 😔 small bathroom but it suited us well. The hot water and AC (though noisy coming on and shutting off) are the best I've experienced in a HI Express. The female agent at the amusement ticket counter was kind, helpful and friendly. The rest of the staff were knowledgeable, quiet and direct.

Older building, small bathroom. Hate COVID excuses-no housekeeping unless you ask and you get charged more for less services. Def not customer friendly plan. And staff could be a little friendlier. Breakfast staff was excellent

This place was wonderful! We booked because we were going to universal studios. Perfect location. We had an early flight that morning we were supposed to check in and they held our bags for us while we went to universal for the day. They had wonderful breakfast, comfy beds and staff were so friendly and accomodating! Even on our checkout day, we had a late night flight so they held our bags that day too while we went our last day to universal! Love this hotel and will definitely stay here again!

The staff was incredibly helpful and helped answer all of our questions! The breakfast was great and very delicious! The location was great and was so close to everything we could need and wanted to do! I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself was a bit muggy, like the ac in the lobby and hallways was not working that well. But the ac in the rooms was okay, it was a bit hit at night though.

The breakfast was the best of any equal hotel I've ever stayed at. The room was clean and neat, very comfortable.

The rooms we booked were not ready when we checked in at 3:00. We were told they had been given to some walk-ins just a few moments before our arrival. We left and ate dinner, came back 1 1/2 hours later and the still weren't ready. The desk clerk was very nice, and said that she was going to make sure we got the price of one room refunded. As of today, we still have not gotten a refund.

the rooms were clean and housekeeping came by every day while we were gone to the parks. the pool is open late and towels are provided outside. the breakfast had a lot of options and they tasted good as well.

the microwave in our room had no turntable and it was dirty. the telephone (does anyone still use those?) took up the whole top of the nightstand. no room for phones to charge, nowhere to put my glasses, book..etc.

Breakfast, beds, and spacious rooms were all great as well as being pet friendly.

A 'dog area' was advertised but a couple small grass patches in the parking lot hardly qualifies. Our dogs were frightened by the noise and vehicle commotion, would have liked a designated area since that was what we were led to believe we were getting based on advertisements.

could use an update on decor. The bolt lock needed to be fixed, it was broken. It would be nice if the shuttle service ran a little later than park closures.
