Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Nearest to Universal Studios

Great location Rooms were clean, had a good size and bed was comfortable Parking available Kitchen was well equipped Shuttle available to the parks

It was clean and the breakfast was excellent! Very close to universal studios!

Check in was at 3 and we didn’t get there till 4 and rooms still wasn’t ready we waited till almost 5 before we got a room!!!

The free breakfast of the hotel is very nice. It was cooked by their staff and heated to provide good qualities. Our room is facing the pool which is not noisy during weekends. The staff are nice and the people who live there are friendly. They also have washing machine for you to clean your clothes.

The hotel is nearby the highway, if you don't get a pool view room, it can be noisy at night. Some of the visitors doesn't have good manner. They left the trash on the floor which makes smells bad. It is nearby Universal Studios so be aware of the traffic at the park closing time and weekends.

The room/suite was good and spacious and had two rooms. and a small kitchen. There was a TV in each room and a great range of channels. The bathroom was a good size too. The beds were very comfortable and the aircon system worked well. We didn't hear any noise whatsoever from other rooms, so the rooms seem to be very well soundproofed. We were also able to buy tickets for Universal on-site, which were the same price as directly online.

All utensils at breakfast were non-biodegradable single-use plastic. Plastic glasses were also used along with plastic plates. Everything was discarded into a single bin. This disappointed me that there is no recycling or a move away from single-use plastics. I nearly felt guilty each morning discarding this amount of plastic.

The rooms were nicely set up, and having a suite with a separate sleeping area, and kitchenette was very nice. Having the extra space was a plus. The morning breakfast was great with a wide variety that changed every day. There was a cocktail reception on Wednesdays, but since we booked Saturday -Monday we were unable to attend. Perhaps think about maybe adding a weekend day to allow more access to this perk.

There were a few things that needed to be attended to repair wise, also encountered cockroaches in the kitchenette area. There was a slight need for general updating. The entrance to the property, which is your first impression, also was in shambles, needing repair to the driveway and some landscaping. Additionally I booked a King Sized suite, and was given a suite with two queen sized beds. Upon arrival the front desk allowed a person who was a part of my party, but not staying in my room nor paying for my room to check me in without any verification from me which let to billing problems that were straightened out.

The breakfast was almost everyday of my stay cold, and I will like to eat warm eggs, also de cleanning of the breakfast area, was noone during the morning, we need to clean everyhthing before and after.

we really enjoyed our stay here. The wonderful women at the front desk, who checked us in, was amazing and so accommodating and extremely helpful. The room was very nice, clean and spacious. An excellent location for universal.

This really isn’t a complaint just a suggestion. While the free breakfast had a lot of variety, there wasn’t anything a vegan could eat except a banana. so I’d love to see one vegan option.

We loved our stay at Homewood. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming - from those at the front desk to the cleaners, breakfast area staff and those we crossed paths with around the hotel. There were lots of options for breakfast with some variations day to day. The kitchenette in the room and BBQ area by the pool were so nice to be able to cook some meals and avoid eating out twice a day, for our weeklong stay. The pool was also a highlight - great temperature and lots of shaded areas around the pool. The social night on Wednesday was a nice surprise. Lots of snack food options and drinks available for free!

We were travelling with a baby so would have liked to see the garbage in our room changed daily when the beds and towels were refreshed. We tied them up and set them outside our room each afternoon/evening and they were picked up.

The breakfast was great and meet everybody's taste. There was a morning where the sausage was cold. I don't think that was normal everyday thing. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms are good but ours needed some minor fixes. The hotel is very used. I have stayed in a Homewood Suites in another location and the rooms were in better condition. The shower curtain continually got water on the floor no matter how much I tried to close the sides and bottom of it. The tiles behind the toilet at the floor were pulling away from the wall because the moisture on the sheet rock was warping. The bathroom really needs a better set up. I was not asked about having my room cleaned everyday so the first day we were out no one came in. Then my husband requested to have the room cleaned everyday and it was. Who ever cleaned our room the day before we left did an amazing job. Overall though I thought the hotel was good. It fit our family of five comfortably and was close to everything we came to do in Orlando.

My wife and I had to evacuate Tampa when it looked like Hurricane Ian was going to hit directly. We were one of many. Because so many people like us had to leave with their pets, the hotel was gracious and waived the mandatory pet fee given the circumstances. They even provided dog treats and puppy pads if the dog needed to go during the storm. We picked this place as it was a suite with a separated room, living room, and kitchenette so we could make our own meals and set up work stations. The staff was probably concerned about their own homes as the hurricane crossed the state, but they stayed on property and were very professional and helpful at all times. Just a shame this trip was for hurricane evacuation and not a more enjoyable park visit.

Could use another bellhop cart as there was only one and people would keep it and not return it. Maybe require something like a drivers license to check it out so people would have to bring it back in a timely manner (or you would at least know who had it and could go get it back).
