TownePlace Suites By Marriott Orlando Southwest Near Universal

The location is amazing, 8 mins to Universal Studios and only across the street for 2 outlets one of them is a very popular one, the staff are very friendly, room is super clean and it’s like a studio with mini kitchen and sofa, breakfast is complimentary anyway for all the guests, overall it’s highly recommended

No variety in the breakfast however it’s not a big deal as long as they have the self maker waffle machine 😋

The hotel is super new and everything is excellent. The bed was super comfy and the bathroom and everything is new. The staff was nice and the place is well located to Universal and Dinsey (we used Lyft). The kitchen is great for a quick dinner or getting something ready for the parks. The breakfast has lots of options (bacon, eggs, oatmeal, fruit, waffles...). It's perfect.

THE SOFA BED IS NOT OKAY FOR SLEEPING. I read a few comments that the coach was awful for sleeping but I thought they were being peaky. It's not admissible for a Marriot to offer a sofa bed and be that low quality. The sofa turns around and you sleep entirely on the lower side which is so hard. They don't even give you a little foam to place there. Do not take a room considering sleeping on the coach.

Everything is near, nice places, barbecue area, swing pool is good. Perfect place

I liked the proximity to the park, I used Lyft to get to Universal, each trip cost me between $4 and $9. The breakfast was really good. Hotel was clean with hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the place. Our suite was equipped with all kitchen essentials. The staff was friendly and helpful. I had a cake delivered the day of my arrival for my daughter's birthday. The staff kept it in the fridge for me until I checked in many hours later.

The only minor thing I didn't like was how wet the bathroom floor would get after using the shower. Towels were not enough to dry it up.

Fresh and modern design of interior, clean room, Internet. People are really working hard to make it clean. Enough room for breakfast.

Absence of a tiny bar/bottle of soap (Front desk answered that there shouldn’t be a soap in the room and then started looking for some ending up with a statement that they ran out of soap and gave me a bottle of shampoo :| ). Also nowadays even motels offer you a small bottle of water, but not in this place. If you use hotel hairdryer be prepared to constantly run to electric panel (distribution board).

Everything was great! The buffet breakfast is really nice, and people working their lovely

Receptionist made a mistake in telling me that breakfast was from 7 to 10 when it actually was 7 to 9. So we missed breakfast

Great shower but you get water all over the floor.

This hotel was extremely clean. Staff was really nice. When we went in to the room we noticed the sofa bed was not what we are used to use, We went to the check in area and asked if we could get a different room The transition was effortless. We were quickly accommodated to a bigger room with two queen size beds. I accidentally left a personal item in the first room and received a call from the front desk to advise they will hold it for me. That was really nice. Highly recommended.
