Homewood Suites by Hilton Orlando-Intl Drive/Convention Ctr

This hotel was very conveniently located - between International Drive and Universal Drive - and within walking distance of several restaurants, a Walgreen's, Icon Park, Pirate's Cove (mini golf), Ripley's Believe or Not and other attractions. The rooms were of decent size (though they were smaller than how they looked in the photos) and the kitchenette was a nice convenience, especially for families. The breakfast was of a good quality (though it lacked variety day by day). Lots of parking spots available (though at a cost).

There could have been more variety in the breakfast offering (it was basically the same items every day), and on some days the breakfast area was very crowded. Also the hotel did not offer daily housekeeping services like what we are accustomed to at other hotels - you have to request housekeeping 24 hours in advance. Parking unfortunately was not free (it cost $10/night, $5/night if you stayed more than 5 nights and free if you stay more than 8 nights).

The location is perfect just behind the main bars in middle of I Drive. Loads of parking and so easy to access from both I Drive and Universal Blvd.

The pool was small and didn’t get the sun until 10:45am and only then sun shone on one side all day with 8 x sun loungers.

We stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed everything. First off all i was Thankful for my early check inn & late check out. Friendly & nice staff, top location walking distance from so many attractions & restaurants, great  breakfast

3rd time staying there, the suites are lovely, always clean, bed is very comfortable. Good breakfast!

There were at least 100 ants crawling throughout the room specifically in the kitchen and cabinets. Had to throw out some groceries and afterwards depended on the fridge to store our groceries. Hotel was advised and explained it was due to upcoming hurricane season(?) But it seems like other visitors experienced the same issue at other times.

The location and the breakfast were excellent.

The location was good - really nice area. It was also the best value for money we found during our 3-week long trip around Florida. The room was spacious and well equipped although it requires some renovation. The breakfast in comparison to "US standards" was above average although still not satisfactory from the European perspective.

The room but also the entire place require some renovation as it was rather old and therefore we had the perception that it was not entirely clean. Unfortunately this is true for vast majority of the US hotels with pricing of 200-400 USD per night that we stayed at during our Florida trip. US hotels are well behind the European hotels.

comfortable bed, good wifi, decent amenities and Wednesday complimentary snack time. Also appreciated contacts from staff, Antonio and Rosetta, regarding our stay.

We notified the front desk twice about a stain on the bottom shelf of the refrigerator, while it was affirmed by staff it was never cleaned by hotel staff. Tub in bath leaked. While the property is good, it is in need of an upgrade, otherwise we always appreciate the welcoming hospitality and location.
