Hotel Monreale Express International Drive Orlando

Lovely hotel in an excellent location for Universal Studios and International Drive. We were able to walk to Universal in about 20 minutes when we went, although there is a shuttle from the hotel and a bus stop a short walk from reception. We also used the I-ride trolley frequently during our stay to travel up and down International Drive, and there is a stop for this located on the main road a short walk from the hotel reception as well. The hotel staff were all extremely helpful, polite and friendly and really made our stay enjoyable - can't pick any one out as they were all so welcoming! They were also extremely helpful storing our luggage on our last day when waiting for our onward transfer after check-out, so wanted to say thank you for this again. The room was a good size and clean and tidy, for the price we paid for our stay we were very pleased. Our stay was for 3 adults sharing, being myself and my partner, and her brother. For a place to put our heads down when we weren't exploring Orlando and the theme parks the Hotel Monreale Express was absolutely spot on.

You could hear some noise from the nearby freeway during the night, but not enough to disturb our sleep and it didn't detract from our stay. I only mention it as if you were a light sleeper, or had children it may have caused a problem - so worth being aware of in advance.

Room was clean. Had a refrigerator, safe, microwave, hairdryer, iron, and TV.

The building was next to busy I4 freeway. Our rooms were on the end so very noisy.

staff! Their attitude is a big no!

Staff are absolutely lovely and super helpful. Location is great. You can tell they’re trying hard to improve hotel as a whole and it shows. Reception area looks new, wifi great. Overall for price you can’t complain, good value for money.

I think rooms need updating, shower handle kept falling off, the bathroom itself felt old and was small hole in wall by room door plus had a few little cockroaches first few days. Pool floor needs repairing. All in all though for the price I think it was still great value. You can tell lots of work has been done and that they’re redoing everything, which I appreciate takes time.I stayed two weeks due to prior arrangements falling through and I’d still stay again here despite these points

We had a room right next to the elevator which met with what I had originally requested. The room was spacious and contained all the amenities we needed. The bed was spacious and comfortable. The shower was good. Everything was clean. All staff we encountered were helpful and very friendly. We would stay again.

The only issue was we were on the side next to the interstate. You could hear the traffic easily but that's not the hotels fault. Still a very pleasantly surprising stay. Again, this was okay considering our room was right next to the elevator.

The hotel changed mattresses and it was very well kept. Just a weird thing happened, someone from cleaning crew (man) asking about where was our room and said the lift was broken (it worked fine, this was weird). So the first day we went to the opposite side of the building and carried our bags for nothing...

The crew had carry cars with wheels on the corridor of the building they do a lot of noise in the morning (sound of the wheels rolling on the floor and talking loudly). Not possible to sleep in at all. Also smelled like cigar from the vent.

the location near Universal St, shops, farmacy, restaurants, Int’l Dr I-Drive bus stop

is not partner with Universal St like others hotel, they have shuttle with scheduled hours that takes you from the park to the hotel and the last shuttle leaves at 8pm from the park, instead of 6pm, I had to leave the park before it close to take the shuttle. We need a shuttle that leaves after parks closes

Beds were comfortable. Clean and tidy rooms. Friendly staff. Good location. Free shuttle to parks. Good breakfast. And good value for money. Only in rooms for sleep. Air con super cold for me and

Shuttle bus some times over crowded mainly on way home but the drivers was super friendly and if needed would drop everyone and come back for you if needed. Wifi didnt work in room but used mibile data. Tv aerial had to fiddle about with to get signal working but nothing to go to desk about. Honestly just me been a little picky . But brill hotel that has been modernised and for me beds were goooooood.

I really liked this hotel, it is worth the price paid. I liked the cleanliness, very close to Universal and the attractions on International Dr. And very importantly, the attention of the hotel service, friendly and very helpful, especially Mrs. Luz in the breakfast area was very kind and communicative. Although you have to pay for breakfast, it is worth the price. Variety of food, desserts and everything made at the moment. The area is very clean. .The staff is also friendly and has knowledge of several languages, so do not feel self-conscious for not knowing English They have shuttle service, with established hours for Disney and Universal. The bus is a bit old but it takes us to the destinations Near the hotel, walking distances, there is a Walgreens, IHop, KFC and other many restaurants you can try. It is a small hotel so there will not be a crowd of guests to be able to use the facilities In summary, it is worth staying here, I will return another time

The only thing I didn't like is that the air conditioning is very cold, there is no way to control the temperature

Room was fine, bed very comfortable. Huge smart TV. Toiletries and fresh towels supplied every day you chose to have room service, and bed linen changed each time too. Air con efficient. Staff friendly. Good location to walk to Universal, or for I Trolley to Seaworld, the malls, or other areas of I Drive.

Would be nice to have a bar. Sunbeds were awful, not suitable for such hot weather- risked getting burnt if you touched the metal arms on a hot day.
