Rosen Inn Closest to Universal

Location, close to Universal with a shuttle pick-up provided. On I-Drive and convenience of food options a short walk away. Supermarket close by. Lots of shopping and other activities in the general vicinity. Great, cheaper family option. No resort fees!

We had a power outage at night and I was halfway through eating dinner. Haha. But it was the whole street, not just our hotel.. Whilst it was inconvenient, the staff were amazing in handling a stressful situation. So kudos! No other qualms.

clean hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff. loved meeting all the new over seas travelers! close to absolutely everything. loved the fact that we had gated parking every night so felt safe.

The check in precedure was really confusing. Bookings state no hold on account or fees associated with this hotel, but they do charge a 1 night stay on top of all week amount at checking. They stated they only do this when they are booked out but when u book a year in advance you don’t know that will happen. I had to talk to higher ups in the hotel to explain that it wasn’t right, eventually they were able to work around it but the reason I chose this over a similar hotel was because of the promises on booking . com..

No bottled water in rooms. Would be great to have the returning busses depart from Universal Studio later than 7:25, because US is open till 10 pm. I am not sure this is hotel’s decision.

The room had all we needed as a small family on vacation, microwave, fridge, coffee, a view, great location and a good working swimming pool. the hotel cleaners cleaned our room daily which i liked best. 7th floor with pool and universal island adventure view.

2 small insects by the sink, very minor.

The room is spacious and well maintained, it is clean and I no issues in it. The pool is not very large but nice and clean, I enjoyed it a lot. I also love the Lite Bite store inside the hotel, have a good selection and they are not overcharging for drinks or snacks or presents there. Near many restaurants and shops. And the Shogun restaurant in the hotel is excellent, it is worth dining in.

The furniture can be a little more modern, but it is no major issue here.

location for us was great. compared to similar hotels in the area, the price was really good. the pool area was quiet so ideal for our chill out days. free parking, what’s not to like.

I know you can’t do much about the I-4 at the back, though the noise from that at night was a bit frustrating. outside of that, nothing to complain about.

Great location ! The staff was very nice . The accommodations at the hotel was resort like but there were no resort fees and parking was Free . Shuttle bus to Universal was a plus . Will definitely be staying again

The beds are pretty small , Also the bathroom. The wi-fi was a little crappy and the rooms could use a little updating . we also had trouble keeping things really cool in the refrigerator.

Location was good, easy walk to restaurants. There is a free shuttle to Universal. We ate breakfast at the hotel twice, it was good for a large breakfast. Some reviews say the décor is a little dated but... It's good quality and in good condition. I wouldn't wouldn't change it. It was good for us. We were on the 8th floor and the lifts were very good. There were three lifts, they were always clean and working. There is a trolley stop, right outside the hotel, 25 cents for seniors! Plenty of secure parking. There was free coffee in the room. Good light proof blinds. I didn't use the pool but it looked OK. Always spare loungers. There were sun loungers available around the pool and could be placed in the sun all day. We had great views from our room. The staff are helpful and friendly.

I would have liked a coffee shop. The breakfast was great but was a little spendy if you wanted coffee and a snack. There was some road noise but it didn't stop us sleeping. I only mention it as you should be aware of the noise. The air conditioning is a "through the wall" type. This is obviously more noisy than central air. Again, I only mention it as you should be aware. None of these things would stop me staying again. It's a good value for money hotel and met my expectations, so don't be put off by my observations!

Hotel room service excellent, cleanliness is top, good breakfast, great parking aerea, good security, great spot on the I-drive for shopping and close to parks, friendly front desk, and service for my incoming packages. Very quiet not a noisy hotel, pool and surroundings is clean. Overall we loved our stay and would recommend this hotel.

There was nothing to our dislike.

The location is excellent, near the Universal studio, restaurants, shops. Staff are friendly. The room is clean. We cannot ask for more.
