We really liked the place. Micheal does a wonderful job with the up keep. Getting to know guests. 2 minute walk to the beach. Which there are chairs you can ask to borrow. We really like how quiet and comfortable the room was. We would go back.

Nothing everything was great !

Apon arrival, I was greeted by Michael himself. He was friendly/professional & made sure I was comfortable & had everything I need. The texting service worked out well if you needed to communicate. He was quick & efficient in reply & that was greatly appreciated. The ocean location couldn’t have worked out any better & there are a few restaurants walking distance around the villa as well. Loved that there is a lil pet friendly grassed area for the lil furbabies close by as well.

The people were friendly and everything was clean and smelled great. The location was within walking distance to the beach with small quaint restaurants nearby with a quiet atmosphere. The upgrades were well maintained in a cozy room that covered every need. It even came with beach chair rentals and an outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Would stay again and recommend.

There were a few soft spots in the floor being it was upstairs and some of the overall paint inside and out was peeling due to the weather and how old the building is. Overall not a bad place, just needs a touch of love. Would still stay in it again.

I liked that it was exactly what I thought it was. a studio kitchenette, clean, no bugs. All I needed was a place to rest and shower. And the guide on the TV all worked. You had all the channels I clicked on. Nothing worse than clicking on a channel after looking at the guide and it states you don't have it. It was perfect.

I think it needs to be updated. There are a lot of things that are outdated. The walls need to be redone. sanded down and repainted. Fresh coat of paint goes a long way. And the floor, I didn't want to walk barefoot, put a coat of wax on the floors to keep them shiny and newer looking. And the outlets, every outlet I looked at was hanging out of the wall. They weren't secure like they should be. People are scared to touch things like that.

This property is the Volkswagen Beatle of motels — quirky, fun, cozy, playful. Room furnishings all high quality and new. Short, easy walk to beach, restaurants. Free on-site parking. Drive to quality grocery & department stores in under 10 minutes. All check-in and front desk communication via text with quick response time.

The WiFi internet was very temperamental and slow. Made it difficult to work from the room. Wife had to sit outside to get a connection. Also, the customary hair dryer is not provided.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 10-day stay and would certainly book a room at the Siesta Motel again on future Florida visits. The price was a great deal considering how close to the beach the motel is. It's less than a two minute walk to the beautiful Gulf of Mexico. An added bonus is that you do not have to cross busy Gulf Blvd to walk to the beach like you would at many other hotels and rentals in the area. You just walk down one quiet, residential side street to get to the beach access. Beach chairs, towels and umbrellas are provided free of charge to borrow as well. There are several great restaurants within walking distance as well. The room was very clean and comfortable too. I can tell that the owner, Michael goes above and beyond in maintaining his motel to ensure that guests have a wonderful stay. Michael is a very kind gentleman as well. While the office is not opened, he comes every morning to clean rooms and do maintenance on the motel. He will always ask guests if they need anything like towels, toilet paper and soap. All in all, if you are looking for a clean, comfortable, safe and quiet place to stay with a short walk to the beach, definitely book a room at the Siesta.

I can't say anything negative about my stay at the Siesta. The location is superb, room was immaculate and the staff was very welcoming.

Small hotel right by the beach with refrigerator, microwave, oven and stove. Michael was easy to communicate with and very accommodating. There are restaurants and a liquor store within walking distance and a grocery store about 5 minutes driving distance. Be sure to try 3D Sushi Thai Lao behind Burrito Social (walking distance) - their food was amazing!

There was traffic noise, but that's to be expected as it is on Gulf Boulevard.

I booked this mini-trip initially for a work meeting in the area but also because I live in Fort Myers and our area was just severely impacted by hurricane Ian. Was in need of a getaway and a beautiful beach away from the destruction. This place was just that! Super cute studio room within a few minutes walk to the beach. You can tell this is an older building with some remodeling done, but everything was nice and the unit was clean. You can’t beat the location as far as restaurants, shopping, and the beach experience. I wish I would have been able to stay longer. I felt safe in the location as a lone, female traveler as well- which means a lot. I virtually checked in and out with Michael who was very kind and informative. Will absolutely return in the future!

Could use some updates.

Great stay, phenomenal location! 5 restaurants within walking distance, breakfast seafood and even evening dining. Michael is responsive and answers within the minute, seriously, he’s on top of it. I ended up having to extend my stay twice and Michael accommodated me and provided me with everything i needed. 10/10 recommend and will stay again when in the area!

The location and caretaker (owner?) were exceptional!! Close to the beach, and very responsive when we had questions or needed anything, no matter how small. Cute decor with a beachy, old Florida feel. Tons of great restaurants nearby.

Room is small but cute. Could use some electrical updates. Was a little nervous about some of the outlets (and even those were in limited number.)
