Comfort Inn St Petersburg North

The clean smell when you walk into the lobby. How nice housekeeping kept my room (506). They ensured I had enough shampoo/conditioner and towels which was great since I was working in an office. The room was a little loud since it faced I-275, but I still could sleep because I was tired, but the room also had the blackout curtains. Spacious room. Bed was fine.

Breakfast. Not sure how a sausage patty and egg patty (since it was a flat egg) are considered a hot breakfast. I would have liked bacon or potatoes or scrambled eggs. Something to show it was fresh and not microwaved from frozen because the first morning, my sausage was ice cold in the middle.

After a miserable night in the regular Double Room we moved to a King Suite, which was a perfect fit for our family of four. The king size bed is in the bedroom and the living room has a full-size sofa bed with its own bathroom and TV. There is also a mini fridge. The hotel lobby has a mini mart area where you can find everything from Advil to snacks to cold beverages. The hydro massage chairs are located in a room next to the breakfast area and can be used for a nominal fee at any time. The breakfast area is quite spacious and accommodated the morning rush, which begins at 7 am. All the front desk staff were very friendly and welcoming. There was plenty of parking and the hotel is located across the street from a Cracker Barrel restaurant and right off the exit from I-275. 12 minutes to Downtown St. Petersburg. Our room was on the 5th floor facing the highway and we did not notice any traffic noise.

The breakfast selection was varied enough but there was nothing special about it. The coffee was hot but mediocre at best. It's definitely time to change the hallway carpets. Do not even think about reserving a double room if there are more than two people in your reservation. The beds in the double room are full size at best - and the room is relatively small, which makes for an uncomfortable stay.

The property was very clean and comfortable. it was close enough to the beaches and other attractions. The breakfast was wonderful, and I think it is at a reasonable time in the morning giving everyone an opportunity to partake.

The water pressure is not as high as I would like it to be but it’s not a deal breaker. I still have not yet received my deposit back from my stay which has been over a week now. Before I arrive, there is a $100 deposit that is taken from my account that I was told would be refunded upon leaving however, I have not yet received my refund.

David at the front desk gave amazing customer service. He was very knowledgeable and informative. Unfortunately I traveled the week of hurricane Ian and coming from up north where we don't deal with hurricanes it was nerve racking. Luckily this hotel was in a safe zone. They only had a few tree branches and leaves on the ground from the wind, nothing significant. Overall David was most helpful. The water pressure in the shower is amazing. Breakfast was decent and was from 7am-10am which was great because I grabbed breakfast before having to head to work.

I spent six days in this hotel and my room was only cleaned once. I arrived on Sunday 9/25/22. My roomed was cleaned on Tuesday. I left Saturday 10/01/22 and no one stopped in my room since that Tuesday. To be fair I figured due to the hurricane maybe staff was short but the room across from me was cleaned three days in a row. Thanks to David at the front desk he offered to take out my garbage and changed my towels.

Breakfast was weak.

The bed was comfortable, the area was quiet, I got the refrigerator in my room which I needed, there was also a microwave and coffee maker with supplies, as advertised. The bathroom was also clean, with plenty of towels. The TV reception was great! Loved the free parking!

The items served for breakfast were good, except for the eggs. They were cooked ok, but I would rather have had them scrambled. I did not go for seconds, as I was being given breakfast where I was going.

The room was very clean. the king bed was very comfortable, hubby and I both slept very well. the bathroom was very clean. I always check the bed for bugs, there were two types of mattress covers on the bed which was wonderful. Breakfast was good with several options to pick from and the area was very well maintained. The front desk girls were wonderful and gave me a list of restaurants in the area and information on the closest to the hotel.

Another bar to hold onto when entering and exiting the tub. There is one bar in the tub which is great but its hard to reach back and hold onto when leaving the tub.

clean and comfortable, typical Comfort Inn quality being average for chain hotels. Price too high but everything is up now and there was an event that weekend.

room needed some caulk and touch-up around bathroom trim, I am handicapped and have the most difficulties in the morning so I was 30 minutes late in checking out. Housekeeping kept banging on my door every few minutes despite my telling them I was almost ready - front desk also called - very annoying

Was a great stay! Enjoyed our room and the hotels location and proximity to multiple restaurants and other entertainment options. Staff was great and attentive to our needs and they have multiple "extras" around like massage chairs, pinball, and more.

Wasn't a fan of the breakfast but overall a great stay!

Service outstanding. Entire staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Our suite, the hallways, the lobby, and the dining area was spotlessly clean. Great location to interstate and the other areas of St. Petersburg that we needed to travel to.
