Everything.! Well maintained, clean, room was great, nice pool etc. Would highly recommend. If you want to go to the beach, recommend going to Sharky's on the pier. Has restaurant, on the beach, gift shop. Very close to hotel.

Wish it had been on a bus route to downtown etc. or some type of shuttle/trolly. So we just got an Uber. Cost was $7.50 for anywhere we went. Better than renting a car for $60 a day. Restaurnt on site, quite pricey.

such a quaint little place, in a great location. The room was very nice & clean, bed was amazing.

This is a old building, the main door to our room was so old that you had to jiggle the key & force the door open. The bathroom was very clean but very poor water pressure in the shower.

I love the outdoor space. The pool and the 'garden' behind it are a peaceful place to spend time in the morning or evenings and one could usually find someone to talk with if interested. The air conditioner in the room was a nice model and the fridge was well sized. I love to walk and the location gave me an excuse to get my steps in walking to and from town and various beaches. Easy access to a grocery store and Walgreens. Did I mention peaceful and quiet????

My bathroom had some mold on the ceiling (which can be common in Florida) and several places where things had been damaged. None of the drains worked well in the shower or sink. That said the hotel is in the process of remodeling and from what others said my bathroom likely had not yet been done.

I got there late at night after looking for a long time for a place to stay. NIKS...the guy that works there was so nice and helpful....we became friends and now I know that there is someone to trust when i'll be back. I stayed for one more night and set down for dinner with him and his lovely wife Akangsha . Thank you very much for the worm welcoming. I travel a lot and this is such a good memory to have from beautiful Venice!

the pool in the courtyard was very nice, easy access. very safe gate. tables and grill for eating outside.

I understand it’s a way to keep track of linens. but we had to trade out instead of getting extras. personally needed more than three for all of us. ended up rotating baths or tracking down housekeeping to swap out dirty for new. it would have been nice to have new linens offered. after five days at the beach, they definitely needed to be changed, not remade. I did remove all bedding and set on the floor in order to get new.

No breakfast provided but there is an excellent breakfast/lunch restaurant on site.

The facility is old.

I was very, very happy to find a salt water pool that was 8.5' deep. You NEVER see that at hotels/motels, etc. The room was fine; clean and good size. The bathroom was small but functional and clean. The wifi connection was strong, so all in all a stay well worth while.

It was a bit surprising when I asked to see the room before we completed the transaction. I'd expected the hear "absolutely, we're very proud of our property, let me show you", but instead I got "you will pay for one night if you cancel", which certainly didn't bode well. Anyway, they had nothing to worry about; the room and property were/are fine and I'd certainly stay there again.

For the most part the room was spotless every day. Great off-season rate. Too hot to use the courtyard or the pool but would be a great place to stay with kids.

No guide to local tv channels. Also could have used a comfortable chair in the room. And a diagram of the in-house facilities, ice soda machine etc.

Very spacious. Mini refrigerator is a bigger mini fridge with separate freezer for ice cream!!! All the rooms have french doors that open to a courtyard with the pool in middle, BBQ grills, covered patio table areas, chairs with small tables outside of every room. Very beautiful. Looks a bit intimidating when you first drive up, but once you're inside....you'll be very shocked to see that this place truly is a hidden gem!

A few minor issues with the bath tub and the sink not draining properly , but I'm not going to complain. I still give this place a 10 because the price was a bargain considering how relaxing the owners have made this place. Everything else this place offered was enough to ignore the minor issues.

Location was fabulous. Short drive to the downtown area or the beaches. About 30 minutes to Sarasota. Good restaurants close by. Nice courtyard area for sitting out or enjoying the pool. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was updated and clean. Comfortable beds. Good food at the on site Blu Bistro. Good value for the money.

Limited parking options. 1 assigned space per room. Found a few baby roaches in our bathroom, which they took care of.
